    Definitely louder than my old Ice maker. But now we only turn it on if we know we're going to need extra ice. The cubes are a good size for mixed drinks and if you chew ice. Much smaller than the banana shaped cubes that my refrigerator/freezer makes. Need to add water almost daily if you run it regularly.

    I recommend this ice machine fit's on top of your kitchen counter or your covered patio counter top very easy to install just need water and a drain you can even use it as a portable ice machine for special events if you set it up that way I recommend this ice machine do recommend installing water filter in the water line

    The ice machine makes cute bullet type shaped cubes. We connected a house water filter system so the cubes are clear. When the bin is full I bag the ice and store it in the freezer as our quantity demand for ice changes everyday.

    The ice drain line backs up all the time and causes all the ice to melt. My husband, a journeyman plumber of over 25 years, has reran the drain line several times, several different ways. The ice rack that helps the ice slide from the actual ice-making area to the holding area flips all the time and causes the machine to shut down. This machine is also VERY loud. Don't put it anywhere near where people may be trying to talk.

    I bought this ice maker for my husband for Christmas. It has worked 2 months out of 6. Don't waste your money like I did. Best Buy does not stand behind this product. The company that makes it said they had a lot of issues with this model. They want me to pay to send it back for them to look at it. Don't waste your time buying an appliance through Best Buy.
