This is a great game but without all the glitches and freezes that this game has. It has a lot of glitches and thats the only problem. Other than that this is an awesome online play and better than part 1. I bought this for my sister on thanksgiving and my children has it and I have it. You have galactic assault for 16 against 16 players with storm troopers till you can get enough points to be a hero, than you have hero vs villians 4 on 4 and hero showdown 2 vs 2. Its very fun. You also have ewok hunt and also game campaign mode with iden versio and kylo ren. Enjoy!

If you like star wars you will like this game. Iconic characters are a little off but troopers and other background items are spot on. Game is basically a reskinned battlefield but the story mode is a solid addition of the last installment.

Awesome story mode to submerge yourself in. Multiplayer mode still needs a little work with progression system but over all still feels good and fun to play.

After receiving the great service Best Buy always provide, as a Star Wars fan, I highly recommend this game. It has a great story mode, it is also up to date with the new Canon stuff. I rate it A+.

It’s really fun game to play online and also vs mode with my own sister. The nostalgia of Star Wars and our competitiveness makes us loose track of time. If you are a Star Wars fan I recommend this game!

An ABSOLUTELY Great Continuation Of The Original Game.... Star Wars Battlefront!!!! Having A FUN FILLED And FULLY ENJOYABLE Time With This New Game!!!!

Both the multi player and Campaign are actually good. cons * The A I is not that good in the campaign... even on hard. It isn't bad... it just isn't good. The story seems to be enjoyable and the gameplay is fun.There were moments were i felt like i was playing a tutorial with how easy it is to shoot the cpu... the story kind of gets you hooked... and the gameplay (even though it's easy) still is very enjoyable Multi-player needs more strategy... i thought COD was bad. It can be enjoyable when you get matched with players that are actually good... but when you have team-mates that die 50 times... you're kind of on your own. Also loot boxes really didnt need to be in this game. I have no problem with character or story dlc... but loot boxes to make you more powerful seem really stupid and greedy

Battlefront 2 is a great balanced game. The first battlefront was a fun game but in my opinion lacked in content. This game brings a lot of fun like the first with the online multiplayer aspect but also added a much needed campaign. If you love Star Wars pick the game up. You will not be disappointed.

I loved BF1 2015 despite not having a campaign and paying for season pass which i normally never buy. Now with BF2 I was extremely excited to get free dlc with more maps and a new campaign added, More heroes and great class base system. I knew it had to be a catch when EA has anything to do with a AAA game. We all know by now the dreaded microtransactions (MT) had to replace the free dlc. I don’t mind MT as long as it doesn’t effect gameplay. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case with BF2 even in the beta I played. Thankfully the MT were temporarily removed after a mob of angry gamers brought attention to EA firewalling heroes and making you feel like you need to pay for random non guaranteed items you get from loot crates. Hopefully EA is wise and when they return the loot crates its straightly cosmetics and make progression rewarded with more points for skilled players. I would be shocked if MT wasn’t completely removed from progression to make the game fun and rewarding. I haven’t played the campaign yet nor final build but I am sure the game will be great just like the beta. I did see bugs in the beta and heard bugs in final build. I know DICE will fix those issues. It’s too much at stake. I am sure the campaign is good not great. But BF old games never had a great campaign either. The MP is where all the greatness ly in BF2. Arcade mode is also another mode more beefy than BF2 2015. BF2 will be great game for a long time with a steady stream of great heroes, maps, modes and added story content. I just hope to get a black lifesaber wielding hero such as mace windu added to the free dlc. Dice, Make it happen.

The campaign was really well done and even has a bonus story that's included with a free update. Playing through the campiagn can also give you a bit of a head start in the online multiplayer by unlocking some Credits several loot boxes for it. Same for the single player Arcade mode. The multiplayer is fun as well with many different models to choose from. The loot boxes can be a draw back and make it feel like some players with better equipment can easily take on a new player, but I guess a lot of online multiplayer sort of feel like that anyways. I do wish the loot boxes were a bit less random, though. The unlockable Heroes, Villians, and Starships may cost a lot of Credits (and time, too), but there is a game mode called Heroes vs. Villians that rewards the players with a pretty good amount of Credits even if you win or lose. Of course, you do get more if you win. This game mode is a quick and fun way to unlock these characters. I haven't even put that much time into the game and I have most of the characters/starships unlocked, only about 4 or 5 are left. Overall, I'd say the loot boxes are the only major negative about this game, but I am still enjoying it. I would prefer choosing what I could unlock for each trooper/character/starship, but I'll just have to go along with it for now. Maybe I'm just being a sucker for Star Wars, but I like the game overall.

I understand that these Battlefront games are mainly designed for online play, but I remember the first Battlefront games on the PC that my even my son loved. If you didn't want to play online, you could easily play the same maps with bots. Graphics are amazing and sound is the usual John Williams soundtrack and everything fits the Star Wars universe. There is a full campaign this iteration and his time around you are playing as an Imperial special forces soldier. I really liked the change but wish it was longer. Either way, this game will not disappoint and is a great addition to the collection. I had to buy an external HDD to install along with all the other games I have. The game is around 40GB!!

All I've been hearing about star wars battlefront 2 is hate and how it's pay to win but despite all the bad press I still love this game. It's the best star wars game I've played for some time and is almost as good as the old battlefront games. The campaign mode is great, the acting, story and gameplay, is awesome. The multiplayer is excellent and I've experienced no lag or server issues playing on my original PS4 and arcade mode is cool too. Custom arcade team battle mode is my favorite. You can play split screen with or against a freind with bots. You can change team sizes, bot difficulty, maps etc, so you have a great offline co-op experience similar to the old battlefront games.

Dislike the progression system and loot boxes. But the game mechanics are great as are the graphics. The story starts out interesting then takes a turn towards the cliche. Overall I dig it.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a solid follow up to the original released a couple years back. This version adds a campaign, that while brief and lightweight, provides a few extra hours of fun. Naturally multiplayer is the meat of this title, and while gameplay is as good as it was before, progression and enjoyment is hindered by excessive loot crates that deliver more fire power to players with either better luck, or money to buy the deluxe edition. Publisher EA is making strides to fix these imbalances, but as of now, it’s too little too late.

Game is really good, graphics are amazing and campaign is very entertaining. Multiplayer has been explanded to more characters and game modes, EA really stepped up with this release of Battlefront keep it up !

Great graphics and game play for the price. All fans of Star Wars should own this game. I enjoyed all the characters you can be.

With all of the controversy, it would be easy to give this game a bad review. However, I like single player more than multiplayer. I also love Star Wars and exploring the galaxy of SW is exciting and fun. The fighting mechanics are smooth and easy to learn. The landscapes are beautiful. The video is sharp and clear. The world is rich and most objects take damage, which gives the world a more realistic feel. And, I like the single player campaign and arcade bits. Issues: First, the spacecraft flying mechanics leaves you spinning in circles to follow the AI ship targets. Second, the lootbox and crystal bits should not have been in the game but they are there and are inactive, which is wierd to have inactive elements of a game. Third, the end of the single player campaign was abrupt and without an ending. DLC can provide an end at a later date, but it should have been given a satisfactory end with future possibilities covered in DLC. Overall, fun to play and great experience for SW fans, but unfinished and obviously designed for multiplayer microtransactions to get the full experience, which is unfortunate. Hopefully, DLC will be free and will fix some of these issues.

I saw the previews and this game looks great. Its going to be like playing the actual movies with tons of new and old school characters. Like the fact they added a single player story line play.

This is a good Star Wars game. It looks absolutely beautiful and plays nicely. I haven’t encountered any bugs or glitches yet. I haven’t gotten around to playing campaign yet but have heard good things about it. The multiplayer is fun but can be challenging. I would like to see more weapons added and I would like for it to be a little bit easier to unlock weapons. There aren’t many multiplayer modes to play compared to the first game. Overall this is a good game.
