It's a display cable, without audio

This has a male end DVI-D, so only carries the display signal, not an audio signal like a DVI-I. The pins are different, including the size of the large, flat ground. If you just need to send signal to a DVI-capable monitor, this works fine.

My partner can’t use it, too difficult to get to regular TV. I have learned how to use it and it is fine for me, but not worth the confusion
