Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this for an older 128GB SSD that I removed from a laptop (replaced with 512GB SSD). I used GParted Live (USB version) to delete the old partitions, and create a new data partition, with NTFS in case I ever need to use it on Windows. I use Linux, though, but one never knows. This requires USB 3.1 for the full speed, but I only have USB 3.0. I still copied some video files at an average of 80MiB/Second. Not too shabby! This is great! Much faster than the "regular" hard drives. Now I have to get some more SSDs and enclosures! BestBuy is gonna love me!
