Clever, useful little plug-in!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you need or want to be able to use SDXC memory cards (or if you use them to extend storage), but your computer or laptop lacks the necessary memory slot, this is great: just put them in this lightweight device, and plug it into a simple USB port, and voila!

Great card reader for SD cards requiring USB-C

I needed a very quick way to move data from micro SD card from my drone and SD from camera to the MacBook Pro. This device fits the bill perfectly without requiring any other adapters (should not need one in the first place - thanks Apple) It also has a slot for the larger but older SD card should you need it. The data transfer rate is very speedy. I am extremely happy with this card reader.

Haven't tried the other cards but so far for the CF cards it's great. I also like the attached cable. Plug in to the computer and another into the reader gives 2 places for failure. Hardwired into this unit eliminates at lest one potential bad connection.
