Read online it's a known issue with these headsets. Save yourself the time and get the HyperX Cloud 3 wireless headset. They sound great and they just work. Not to mention a 100+ hr battery life before recharge. Stay away from these. You've been warned.

Volume control issue

It has am issue with volume control. I've looked online and I'm not the only issue. There's nothing you can do to fix it. People have contacted steel series and exchanged their headset for a new one and still had the same issue.

Garbage

Audio lag, cutting out, static, and sonar didnt work at all. I downloaded the program to customize audio (steelseries gg) and it just constantly crashed. Returned them after a week of troubleshooting and trying to get them to work.

Constant interference

They are light and have a long battery life. The required software is really bad and takes over all my other audio devices too. The headphones have terrible range, and the audio cuts out even at my desk. Bought two, had to return them both.

Overpriced piece of junk

The box says it’s compatible with Xbox but the Bluetooth function doesn’t work with it. Also after using the headset for about a month with gentle care the microphone has stopped working and it just isn’t really great for anything other than hearing things about a second after they happen

Too flimsy for the cost

So I was stuck with it. And the official website took too long for me to even be able to use the warranty, since I hate back and forward communication with emails. So it was a complete disappointment.

Moving to Corsair

The Bluetooth cuts out often and can be a pain in the backside to re-pair with the computer. There was no reply from SteelSeries when I asked for help.

Disappointed

I got this for my son who games and he has had major problems with it. I spent extra thinking ok he’ll love this! But no, the darn thing needed a software patch you had to download to the USB out of the box before it could even work!! It sucks! I should have not bought this. I am actually buying another headset because this sucks so much.
