The software is pretty bloated, but the customization was solid. Biggest issue was how LOOSE the clamping force is. Couldn't take a sip of water without the headset sliding around and even falling off. I adjusted the headband, but it was not enough. Had to return it which is too bad, because I otherwise liked them. So, 3 stars for me. If you have a big head or play games completely motionless, they are probably 5 stars for you.

So when I bought this I thought this would help me improve even more but after about a year of owning them I’m realizing the gameplay audio in a lot of these games are just trash. So spending more money on a headset isn’t gonna necessarily give u the advantage you think you’re gonna get by buying something more expensive. I’ve used 30-50$ headphones and they’ve been almost just as good. Save your money. But this isn’t a knock on the steel series. More so the game developers.
