Best sound but not so great mic.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used practicall every high-end headset (cosair, logitech, razer, roccat, etc...) in search of the best, and this one comes pretty close but the only issue is the mic. The mic was a huge disappointment anr i sounds so muffled even when i use Steels software to make slightly better. This is terrible, considering the price, as Razer's Blackshark pro v2 2023 sounds so good but half the price, so Steel series has no excuse to skimp on the mic. I had to add a mod mic wireless to compensate for the bad mic. Besides that, everything else is awesome! The sound is so crystal clear and the profiles for fps'make footsteps as loud as they can be for that edge in games. ANC is also a great feature, when i got friends over the sound pass through mode works well and when I am alone the noise cancelling is perfect. The overall best feature is the true wireless ability this has as the hub charges a battery and the headset hold another, so swapping batteries when the headset one is out is a feature i never knew I needed. Overall a great headset but the mic needs to be either updated in the next version or just buy a seperate mic.

Pricy, but a nice upgrade.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgrading from Astro A50’s. Using for my PC. Sound quality is very good. Software is easy to use. Comfortable and being able to hit swap batteries for extended use is awesome. Can set Bluetooth to turn on automatically so it connects directly to my phone as soon as I start gaming and can continue to use with my phone even after I turn off the PC. The leather ear cups are comfy but can get warm for extended use in a warm room. Not a deal breaker though. I would recommend.

Awesome!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing can ever be perfect but these cans are pretty good albeit disappointing in some aspects. They perform great for pc and my ps4. The sound is loud and phenomenal. Battery life is excellent! The wireless dac leaves things to be desired but you can tweak sound settings on the fly. So far Bluetooth has worked great. Now the short comings. There is no optical cable input so this headset is strictly for what it says its for. So no watching tv with these on. I tried. Also the setup is not designed for Nintendo switch as it claims which leaves the user to tweak the programable custom settings and adjust to your liking otherwise the sound is way too low and can get distorted. Also dont forget to turn the volume all the way up on your switch. Took me awhile to figure that part out. Lastly this isnt noise canceling like it claims but there is a difference in sound transmission with noise canceling off. My ears do start to sweat a little after a long gaming session. Lastly these are comfortable and the speaker that protrudes inward that causes some discomfort in many users didnt affect me. The shape of everyones ears is different. Shame on steelseries for not taking this into account. Overall i think theyre worth the money but like everyone else that releases good products i would like steelseries to make a version of these cans that are more premium even if it comes with a higher price tag.

Excellent sound, comfy and a whole arsenal of tool
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound is excellent, with a whole plethora of settings and tools. Being able to recharge one battery while using the other is handy and its not complicated to swap them. Mic quality is good enough for gaming and Discord use. If i wanted something better the go to is a stand mic anyways. The Dac is a cool new device which was easier than I expected to use and find a home for on my desk. Everything from ANC, Sidetone, and eq presets for Baldur's Gate 3 and a bunch of other games. Swapping between PC and Ps5 is quick and painless. The headphones are solid construction wise and comfy enough to wear them for 8+ hours and not have any fatigue. Overall its a solid investment and a nice upgrade from my Arctis 7s.

Steelseries with another amazin product!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these headsets and they are by far the best set of wireless headphones I've owned. I think the design of exchangeable batteries paired with the dock for charging and sound control is very handy, especially paired with the Sonar App. Its very loud, bassy, and with sonar, sounds and applications can be modified to match specific preferences.

Definitely worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use my Nova Pro for work and gaming every day. The sound is incredible. Whereas I struggled to hear some of my clients with my old headset, everything is perfectly clear with these. They are super comfortable, and the battery life is great.

Awesome!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome headset!!! Best fit! Best sound! Battery life is phenomenal. and the quick change extra battery is genius! upgraded to the wicked pads and it adds some weight to the headset but its worth it so you dont get poked in the ear like the original pads allow.

One of the best purchases you could make
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not even sure where to start. It’s almost everything you could ever ask for in a gaming headset, and it’s not necessarily only great for gaming. It’s just a really well-made headset. absolutely has some of the best audio quality I’ve ever heard from a gaming headset and Steel Series software is really what sets this thing apart from everything else not to mention the quality of the design and the base station are a game changer. The ONLY critique I could give is the transparency mode isn’t really the greatest, not in the sense that it doesn’t work, but in the sense that there’s a lot of static running in the background. You have to turn the audio of the transparency mode up to even hear anything but when do you do that it sounds like a waterfall has moved in with you. My transparency mode works fine on my AirPod pros and they cost significantly less than this headset so I find that to be surprising if anything.

The perfect headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The perfect headset. I work in IT and need to have a headset on practically all day every day. These are INSANELY comfortable and never run out of battery. Plus the AI noise cancelling feature is a game changer for me when talking to clients while in a loud room. As for comfort, these are almost unbeatable. I would recommend ordering some cloth ear pads off Amazon… the stock ear pads that these headphones come with are comfortable, however, my ears get a bit hot and sometimes sweaty after a little bit of time. But that may just simply be a personal preference… speaking of which, customizing these headphones is super easy. Like I said, want cloth ear pads, order some on Amazon and switch them out in no time at all.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing headset. Sonar EQ works great and has superior spatial audio compared to many of the high quality headsets I've used in the past. The DAC works great. Headset is comfortable although the leather ear cups can get warm but in no way is that a deal breaker. Personally I don't care for the ANC, and to be honest most headsets don't knock it out of the park. $350 is a lot of money. In my experience when I drop that kind of cash, purchases rarely meet my expectations. In my opinion the price point is justified and worth the purchase. Please also note, depending on your ear shape and size and how you position headset you might feel the drivers press into your ear. Most people including myself do not have this issue. But if I intentionally position my headphones to do so I can feel the driver hit my ear slightly. To summarize: Fair price point. Very comfortable. Amazing audio quality. Amazing spatial audio quality. EQ and DAC are great. Recommended!

Awesome headset, glad I finally upgraded!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Theres just so much to like about this headset. Swappable batteries so you're never waiting for a charge. Bluetooth so you can easily stream music/podcasts/phone calls. Great sound quality. Some people say the pleather earphones can be uncomfortable but I have a rather large head and tend to sweat a bit and they are actually very comfortable to me.. they are a very plush pleather. Also one thing I dont feel like is explained on this headset but not only does it have active noise canceling thay you can turn on and off, it also has active noise passthrough that you can turn on. Very useful when you need to still be aware of your surroundings.

Great but uncomfortable
|Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Trust the reviews on the uncomfortable nub for the microphone on the inside of the ear cup. Even after Stealseries silently updated the headphones to significantly reduced the size of the nub, I still couldn’t wear them for more than five minutes at a time. After getting some larger earpads, the problem was fixed! Other than comfort, these are the best pair of gaming headsets I’ve ever used. They are tuned very bright with a strong sub base so you can hear other players footsteps clearly and feel the explosions. The soundstage is fairly wide and the imaging is acurate so I can pinpoint where other players are. The noise canceling is better than expected and the microphone is okay. But best of all… the base station! I can easily switch between my pc and ps5 through a 2.4Ghz connection, and charge the second battery so I never have to worry about battery life again! In summary: These are fantastic headphones, but work an extra $30 into your budget to get new earpads.

Gaming Experience with SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro gaming headset embodies the pinnacle of audio engineering and ergonomic design, offering gamers an unparalleled combination of immersive sound, comfort, and versatility. After spending considerable time with the Arctis Nova Pro, I can confidently affirm its status as a standout performer in the gaming headset market, while acknowledging a few minor drawbacks. Positives: Immersive Audio Performance: The Arctis Nova Pro delivers a truly immersive audio experience, thanks to its high-fidelity sound reproduction and DTS Headphone:X v2.0 surround sound technology. From the thunderous roar of explosions to the subtle nuances of ambient noise, every sound is rendered with remarkable clarity and positional accuracy, pulling you deeper into the game world. Customizable Audio Profiles: With the SteelSeries Engine software, users have the freedom to customize their audio experience to suit their preferences. Whether you prefer enhanced bass for action-packed shooters or balanced mids for immersive RPGs, the Arctis Nova Pro's customizable EQ settings allow for personalized audio tuning, ensuring optimal performance in any gaming scenario. Supreme Comfort: Designed for extended gaming sessions, the Arctis Nova Pro prioritizes comfort without compromising on performance. The lightweight construction, breathable ear cushions, and adjustable headband ensure a snug and comfortable fit, even during marathon gaming sessions. Say goodbye to discomfort and hello to uninterrupted immersion. Crystal-Clear Communication: Effective communication is essential in multiplayer gaming, and the Arctis Nova Pro excels in this regard. The ClearCast bidirectional microphone delivers crystal-clear voice transmission, free from background noise and distortion, ensuring seamless communication with teammates and adversaries alike. Versatile Compatibility: Whether gaming on PC, console, or mobile device, the Arctis Nova Pro offers seamless compatibility across a wide range of platforms. The included USB-C and 3.5mm adapters make switching between devices effortless, allowing for immersive gaming audio wherever your adventures take you. Drawbacks: Limited Surround Sound Accuracy: While the Arctis Nova Pro boasts impressive surround sound technology, some users have reported minor inconsistencies in positional accuracy, particularly in crowded or chaotic gaming environments. While this issue is relatively minor and may not be noticeable to all users (it is not to me), it's worth mentioning for those seeking pinpoint precision in their audio experience. Price Point: The Arctis Nova Pro is positioned at a premium price point compared to other gaming headsets on the market. While its performance and features justify the cost for many gamers, budget-conscious consumers may find the price prohibitive, especially when considering alternatives with similar capabilities at a lower price.

Better than I expected
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These hesdphones sre great! They have decent audio and mic quality which can be further improved using the dedicated steelseries software, they are comfy to wear, and because they are wirelesd they massively reduce cable clutter. Typically I avoid wireless headphones because I am suspicious of how long they last before needing to charge them and I dislike haveing to wait for them to finish charging, but these bad boys bring 2 small batteries which have a deceptively long charge, while one is in use the other one is charging, so when the current battery is almost out of charge, all you gotta do is "Reload your headphones" which is fantastic. Overall, I'm glad I picked these out, although for anybody else who is considering getting these, be prepared to punch a hole through your wallet because the price matches the quality of these bad boys.

Utter Bliss
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As soon as I saw a new steelseries headset pop up for preorder I had to jump on it. My arctis 7 of 4 years had just died and I was looking to get a replacement. I personally wasn’t expecting a huge increase is sound quality or battery, but I was WRONG. The sound was so crisp right away from the start, but it got even better after messing around with the Steelseries new sonar software. Never have I fully been immersed in gaming than I have with these. I will note that these guys have a noise canceling noise which isn’t crazy like Bose or Sony’s headphones, but it does a great job of canceling out the keyboard and my pc fans. I just think of it as a plus to an already great experience. The battery isn’t something ground breaking but a single charge lasts from 8-10 hours usually, but the really cool feature this has is a hot swap mechanic where if I take the low battery out I have ~9 seconds to get the second battery in which is a fantastic feature. One more thing to note is on the Xbox version of this headset many people were having issues with getting the headset to connect to the controller. The first thing it told me to do when plugging it in to my pc was to update the firmware, so if anyone has issues, try doing that before giving up. To be brief, this headset is very much worth the heavy price tag with its butter smooth audio, unique features and fantastic hot swap feature.
