very uncomfortable for people with slightly bigger ears due to the speaker hitting your ears. keep your money or look up reviews on them. costing more money doesn't always mean more quality.

The 10 minutes I spent with these on my head setting them up and testing them out was 30 minutes ago, and my ears still hurt.
Terribly, brutally uncomfortable. Shocked that there are adults on here using this and not complaining like their head is in a vice. Does the audio quality make up for it? Absolutely not. Even if these felt like wearing a cloud I'd be returning them. They sound terrible.
The little controller box is cool, I'll give them that.

Makes a high pitched screaming noise, support wont do anything and just tries to stall me. I’m done with steelseries, they don’t care about making good products or supporting them. You have been warned.

There is a metal component in the center of the earcups that sticks out of the cloth and stabs you in the ear. A lot of reviews on Reddit will confirm this.
Also, the EQ software only works on PC.
The module it connects to wirelessly is hardwired so if you want to use the volume knob or EQ it through the module you'll most likely have to get up to do it.

Amazing headset, but pay attention when you purchase, if you notice here on the description it says PS5 and PS4 which is literally innacurate since this headset specifically talks about the multi system receiver but because it states that it is for PS5 and PS4 “only” they want to charge you a $130 protection plan instead of the accurate one which is under another SKU where the protection plan is only $70.

These headphones really are amazing I had the Astro A50s for my ps5 and the entire setup for it was an absolute nightmare to make it compatible with the PlayStation 5 due to the ps5 not having an optical audio port also with the Astro A50s you can only use them with gaming consoles/pcs where as with these you can use them as a gaming headset or if you really wanted to you can turn on the Bluetooth on the headset and connect your phone as well. they’re a lot lighter than the Astros and the battery swap out mechanic is hands down the best feature ever not to mention the audio quality and noise canceling is amazing for a gaming headset. i definitely recommend these to anybody looking to spend some cash on a great quality headset.

First off, yes this thing is expensive, but you do get a tone of features.
The dual 2.4 ghz and Bluetooth connectivity is amazing, makes it perfect for working from home. I can easily answer phone calls while I am listening to music or playing a game, there is a feature that either mutes the audio coming from the computer or lowers the volume when taking a call from the headset.
The hub station is pretty much a fancy dongle for the headphones but that is also packed with features. I am able to plug my speakers into the hub so if I don't want to use my headphones I can use my speakers without changing any settings or toggling any switches. The hub provides information on the headphones such as battery level, which leads me to the fact that this thing has hot swappable batteries, so basically you will never have any downtime to charge the headset. Plus these batteries are pretty standard you can easily find replacements on the steelseries website and on ebay as long as the specs match.
Range is pretty large, if you shift the mode to range mode you can go even farther, I was able to take conference calls and still move around the house with no issue in audio.
One of the best audio experiences especially for gaming, the sonar software is still new but so far it does do a really good job with surround sound. This also pairs well with DTS Surround software. There are pre-set equalizer settings for specific games, however I found my general EQ setting that focuses more on mids and highs was better (for footsteps and gunshots).
The mic fully tucks in so you can just use as a standard pair of noise cancelling headphones in public. The subtle design also helps.
Basically you are getting two headsets in one, one for general use when paired with your phone and one for gaming on your computer.
So this is purely a gaming headset, if you are looking for something like Hi-Fi for music and movies I would recommend an audiophile headset.

Great headphones! I work from home and between calls and listening to music I like to have headphones on most of the day. The suspension strap makes these comfortable all day long (better than many premium audiophile-targeted headphones), and the 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connections make it easy to use both my phone and laptop at the same time--no headaches switching between devices. Finally, the swappable batteries means there's never a need to plug them into anything, so I'm always cord-free.

They sound great when you play with the equalizer. Swappable batteries is a nice feature. Only downside is the ear pads after a while they preas down and that ridiculous anc bump starts pressing on your ear, but was resolved by getting after market ear cups.

Really great headphones, quality is amazing and the removable batteries are so nice to have. I use these for work and they are very seamless switching between Bluetooth and game mode.
