Works really well with one of my two pairs of wired earbuds. Quite clear, very little hiss/noise. My other (and newer) pair of earbuds, however, have a very distinct level of noise just from being plugged-in to the adapter and connected to my phone. My music or video audio or whatever is still audible, but the noise/hiss is very distracting with that set, so I can't use the adapter with them.
So, without more earbuds to use and check out, I can only recommend this adapter so much. My personal experience is 50/50, but for the pair without hiss/noise it works perfectly.
