Out of the box the screen was flickering and would stop. Turns out it is a common problem so it was returned. They were so low on stock for computers that I ended up ordering a new computer from Dell.

I had to return it twice because it had to update and it was to slow when I used Zoom it would not work properly

Hadn't even had it a month & had to return due to overheating. Ended up with a Samsung Tablet S6, very pleased. Sales & geek squad very helpful.

This could not run photoshop and other adobe products

Computer only lasted 1.5 weeks before it quit. Had to return for replacement.

Terrible experience. Associate had no idea what he was doing.

Garbage surface pro. not worth the money. Buy something else

I bought an openbox deal and wanted to stick with the surface line since I loved my surface pro 6 so much. I had to send it back in less than 24 hours. It needs a warning label that many software vendors do NOT develop for ARM processors. I use adobe products all day everyday for photo editing, video creation and editing. I also use google drive non-stop. None of my software would work onthis machine. It is a beautiful machine, its lightweight, sleek and performance was fine just be forewarned that google does not plan to port their desktop app to ARM and Adobe is trying but no expected release date for their woftware on ARM.

I remember seeing all of the negativity online and being very disappointed when this came out. I decided to throw caution to the wind (like I typically do) and picked one up. I love it. I have it hooked into a giant monitor via type C to type C and use the surface dock for all other accessories. It's awesome. The screen is gorgeous and it feels like a futuristic device. If you use a computer for pretty basic stuff...ie surfing the web. Google docs, sheets, etc this is a phenomenal device. Can't recommend it enough!

I needed a full PC with LTE capabilities. And I tried the iPad Pro 12.9 before this. HERE ARE THE 2 TRAGIC FLAWS WITH THE SURFACE PRO X. 1. You cannot download Google Drive on the Pro X operating system. 2. You cannot download Brother print drivers. Essentially Google Drive is worthless if I can use the desktop version, and I can't print at home. So essentially the Surface has become useless to me. Sadly, I will have to find another option.

Good product there’s only one issue the processor leave it for Intel

I should have researched a bit more about this product. This is their Pro X device, but doesn't come with a Professional edition of the software I had to upgrade. It also is an ARM processor with TONS of stuff won't work on. I upgraded from the last Pro that had an i7, Like I said I should have researched more.

3 months of 6+ straight hours of use and the Surface Pro X continues to deliver. After throwing a UAG case on it I am confident of the durability and mobility. The processing is very fast and responsive. This is a very user friendly device with endless customizable features.

This was a horrible device, returned it, typing this on my Pro 7. I rarely review products online but felt compelled to so because what Microsoft did building this tablet. The new Microsoft built (aka non-Intel non-AMD) CPU won’t run most programs: Adobe, Dropbox, etc… Prior to buying I did my research and found the only complaints with the Pro X were with the processor/CPU. I don’t need the latest and fastest tech so processers do not typically figure into my purchase decisions. Ultimately, I figured an X or a 7 would suit my needs. When I laid hands on the X I loved it and was woo’d by the almost edge to edge display and the keyboard with the hidden and rechargeable pen compartment. I bought it. INSTANTLY THE PROBLEMS BEGAN. I really only wanted it to review and edit large volumes of PDFs for work, which I keep stored on Dropbox. Step one install Adobe FAIL, step two install Dropbox, FAIL. The products could not run on that device. Could not figure out what was going on but then traced it back to the CPU. Microsoft invented their own CPU for the X and it’s not compatible with anything. Everyone knows the Intel and AMD rule the CPU world and I figured Microsoft competing might not be all that bad. But their “competition” doesn’t even get out of the gate as it won’t run anything, thus making the Surface Pro X absolute crap. Final straw was trying to create a shortcut on the desktop, you can’t do that on the X. Shocked Microsoft even tried this when their processor is not ready for prime time, it almost drove me to try an iPad. I have a Pro 7 now and love it. Installed all the normal mainstream programs perfectly.

This is my 5th Surface. I love them. Tablet, laptop, and multiscreen desktop in office. I use it all day long. All the others were a 5 star. This one is slow, non-responsive, freezes needing reboot, and won't run apps I need -- like my banking app. I should have stayed with a Surface with Intel processor.

I'm thinking for $1500 , I got a very expensive paper weight. Can't even connect to a wireless printer.... Not 64 bit. Amateur ... Not so sure what is pro about it. Not sure what games , besides solitaire will work.

Not that it matters to the company but im a a store manager at Rentacenter and spend alot of money but yet get treated like trash
