A new camera comes with a 60 ft cable, but it was far too short. This cable was long enough to do the job, and there was no loss in the video quality. Perfect for the job.

Don't try and save a buck on cheap alternatives!

I recommend anyone using a swan system use swan cables to prevent issues. The only thing I wish they would change is to make the BNC connectors smaller so I don't need such a large hole to fish them through. But I guess BNC is the industry standard so it is what it is.

I have had some problems getting or finding something manual need to go into more detail on thing too.
