Garbage 250w(billed as 350) motor too weak steel frame too heavy, cheap parts you can't replace and customer service is an absolute disgrace. Never worked right and all SWFT is gonna do is tell you you need a new battery for 299 dollars. The owners manual is even full of erroneous information. Cool idea, utterly failed execution

It was a good bike for the value. I liked the speed and it brought me back to my younger days. Would recommend someone who wants a affordable quick small Bmx bike

As a long-time cyclist, I’ve owned many bicycles over the years of all sorts - hybrids, BMX, mountain and (most of all) road bikes. This, however, is my first experience with a true pedal or motor eBike - and it’s been a great one so far. Of course upon arrival, the box is large and fairly heavy, so be ready for that (I was) but the bike itself is mostly assembled - you really have to attach the handlebars and seat along with the front wheel. Assembly from out of the box took less than an hour including adjustments and the pack all the tools you need (including a few extra for those adjustments/future maintanence) in the box which is a GREAT touch. My particular bike did have a part that was damaged in shipping (not the fault of SWFT) and SWFT was absolutely wonderful to deal with - their customer service was fast and efficient and got me the replacement part at no cost - shipped quickly even!
Once assembled, the bike is super easy to ride. Riding a BMX bike is a bit different geometry wise than a mountain or road bike, with smaller wheels and more frequent standing when pedaling (though you can adjust the seat to reduce the amount of time spent standing if you wish - I did). That’s nothing to do with THIS bike in particular, just BMX bikes in general and I knew that going in. In operation, the bike is great - you can pedal on your own, saving the electricity in the batteries for the occasional boost, ride solely on battery OR use the batteries as different levels of “assist” to make pedaling easier. When pedaling, the bike does feel a bit “heavy” and is necessarily a single / fixed gear (though with a flywheel, so you can coast unlike some “fixies”). It’s not hard to pedal at all and is pretty comfortable to cruise around with even without using any power assist at all. The power assist is a nice feature that basically can help you keep a constant speed even when you hit hills that would otherwise slow you down if you’re pedaling. And the pure throttle / electric mode is basically like having a mini electric motorcycle (or moped) though only up to 19.8mph of course (on flat ground) - it’s fast and responsive with instant torque. Steering is easy in all modes…like riding a bike as it were…and the electronics are easy to operate/the screen gives lots of info. I did add a taillight - I like to be seen at night and the included reflector is fine but I wanted a bit more light - and the included headlight is nice and bright for night-time riding (wear a helmet of course…). Braking is only handled by the rear wheel which is simpler and it’s a disc brake with good stopping power. Charging is easy using an (included) laptop-style power cord/brick, though it doesn’t charge particularly fast - from empty will take overnight though they do suggest charging after every longer ride to avoid fully draining the battery / helping overall lifespan.
Overall the build quality is solid and I look forward to many years of riding to come. If you’ve been thinking about an eBike and you’re good with the BMX style of bike, this is a GREAT option from a GREAT company that stands behind their products - give it a try and you won’t be sorry!
