Swiss Gear makes incredible products, but you definitely pay for the quality. This pack is well set up or college use and beyond.

This book bag fits all my books an is very comfortable even tho i have lots of books does not feel heavy pressure on my back.

This bag is sturdy and holds up well. I am able to fit about 2 college textbooks and two five subject notebooks along with a 17" laptop. The front pockets is convenient for pens and other small things like a calculator. This is a good thing because though there are two separate large areas they are not separated at the bottom and any loose items can and will go from one to the other on the bottom. This is the only downfall. Handle is not like the cable handle but seems pretty strong. The bag does stand on its own when full or not. The strap to hold it to luggage is annoying if you have no purpose for it, however it does fit over luggage handles for those looking to do so.

I travel every week for work and this is the first bag to with stand it

Great backpack, for a good price. It feels very comfortable for daily use. Although it say to fit 15" laptops, It also fits my 17" slim laptop. I took some heavy rain these days and all my things inside were dry. It has a good space, but not much. If you need more space, or fit a bigger laptop, I would suggest the blue backpack by SwissGear (Model: GA-7316-06F00 SKU: 8483036) Great for daily use, not for longer than a day.

searched everywhere and this is the best backpack I could find. I love the bright purple detailing, it adds the perfect amount of color while still looking semi- professional. my 15" laptop fits perfectly! plenty of room for several books and plenty of various pockets for anything else you need to take with you. plenty of padding on the shoulder straps and on the back for comfort. no complaints!

I like the backpack so far, although I have only had it for 2 months now. The only thing I seem to be noticing is that the zippers are starting to unzip themselves a little bit when I am walking around. I know I zip them completely before I leave class, but when I reach my next, a zipper or two are slightly unzipped half the time. And no, I don't mean cracked open. I mean inches open. I hope this doesn't continue or get worse. My shoulders are also very sore at this point in time. So there is not a LOT of padding, but some. I don't know if it's possible to come up with a product with so much padding to where your shoulders no longer ache like this though.

The bag contains enough compartments to fit all my needs. The padding is thick on all sides, even the bottom, of the laptop section. The straps adjust to fit me perfectly (which is often difficult because I am short). I wish it was a little more expandable; it has a hard time holding more than one binder at a time. But otherwise, it's great!
