I think this chill mat is a must for all laptops. It is the first one I've had for a laptop and it makes all the difference.! It adjusts to the perfect angle for typing. It keeps laptop cool with fans. It has extra ports for hook ups.

The cooling set had extra usb ports that were perfect for helping me set up my gaming laptop. It is a little clunky but for being set up somewhere and just being used as a placememt for your laptop its perfect

Cooling mat help keep the laptop cool. Still recognize some warmth from computer, but better than it was. Glad I got the Targus Chill Mat.

This cooling pad works amazingly.no overheating issues with my laptop anymore even up against the wall. The lighting choices are great too

It does what I need it to due. The cooling pad plugs into a port on your laptop. It does keep it cool.

Keeps my lap top cool with fans that don't make much noise. I really like that it gives me more USB ports too.

This product does what its intended to do! I personally don’t find that it runs loud, in fact probably about the same level as my ROG 14” Zeph when the fans are running on high. I typically get about a 15-20 degree temp difference. My laptop can run pretty hot because truth be told, I push it. Keeps me at about 69 (nice) degrees when running Overwatch on high graphic settings. Only reason why I’m not 5-starring is that it fees a bit cheap/unstable. However, have not had any issues with it breaking of collapsing.

Fans are a bit loud. I don’t notice much of a difference between using this product simply as a laptop stand verse having it plugged in with the fans running. I did not notice much temperature drop. This is a game changer if you would like to set the computer on ur lap to game. It allows air flow keeping the system cool. But again. I did not notice much of a difference with the “cooling tray fans” running vs no fans.

Good price. Like the lift it gives and the extra 4-port USB hub. Good cooling.

The Targus - Chill Mat+ is really easy to set up, just unfold and plug in to the USB port on my laptop. It kept my laptop from overheating while I used a 64-bit application to clone the hardrive. The only problem is that there is no documentation on the optional AC adapter that I want to get so I can connect multiple USB devices to the built in hub. I don't know how many volts (probably 5 because it is USB) or whether the pin is + or -.

Fans do great at keeping the laptop cool and all the USB ports really help when using it as a substitute for a desktop. Raising and lowering the stand can be tricky though

Great lift for the laptop! I use it for my work one so it definitely helps with the fans! And keep my mat with all the wireless accessories and printer plugged in to make it an easy transition to plugging into my desk and having everything ready to use!

bought this because my laptop was crashing with blue screen of death due to overheating. Since i bought it, haven't had any more crashes, and would give this 5 stars becaues it works, and i like the tilt feature that lets my laptop sit at an angle.... BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.... if you work in a quiet room, this stand will drive you INSANE with the slight warblin "wum, wum, wum, wum, wum" humming sound of the fan noise. its just low enough, that it enters your subconcious, and makes you think you're losing your mind! play music or put in headphones!

Its not bad, the arm that props up the fan is a bit flimsy and would come out of place when I put my laptop on. Maybe a better locking mechanism? No troubles with all the USB connections, great dock station when im at home.

My Targus Chill Mat Cooling System is the only thing that's keeping my Alienware 16"Aurora 240Hz Gaming Laptop from overeating more. My computer can't perform without its cooling ability! Also, the 4 USB ports are handy since my laptop only has 2 of them!!
