I got this Dual Fan Chill Mat Cooling System in Black by Targus from my local Best Buy. My husband needed something to help his laptop from overheating, so we read other reviews and saw this one. This chill mat is exactly how others have described it: quiet & helps alleviate the heat from your laptop. You do need a USB port for it to work, but other than that, no complaints here!

I bought it with my Best Buy Rewards Points. Overall, it provides a good experience. The fan is pretty quiet compared to many other similar products at the same price level. However, the cooling performance doesn't seem as powerful as those loud ones, but it's more than enough for working and regular gaming. I've been playing heavy games like Call of Duty on it without any heating problem. Overall, it's worth your money especially if you get it on a discount.

MacBook Pro heats up and this Targus Chill Mat works great. Quiet -- hardly noticeable fan noise. Main thing is computer stays room temperature.

Pros The cooler has 2 cooling fans. It is lightweight and made up of lightweight plastic. The fans are not too loud and provides a nice amount of air. inexpensive durable easy on the eyes Cons The cooler is stationary and lays flat. Other coolers are able to angle the laptop. It has no on/off switch short usb cable angling the cooler will experience louder sound from the fans.

It does what it's supposed to, it blows air on the laptop. My biggest issue is with the legs on the thing. They are hard and they are smooth, which means the cooling pad slides all over my lap desk. It has a rubber pad to hold the laptop, but of course it is exactly the length of the space between the legs on the pad. If they were non-slip, it wouldn't be an issue. If I lose the desk so it doesn't slide, then I have four hard balls digging into my legs and the fans can't breathe (better design would draw the air from the sides and have a flat bottom as my old pad was) It moves a lot of air, and so far my laptop has kept its cool. We'll see how it does next time I'm editing video, but I'm sure it will help. Too bad the review that sold me on it was clearly for another unit or I might have passed. Not sure how you review the wrong item, but I guess they did. This really needs an integrated USB hub.

My 7 year old laptop had no issues the first 6 years that i've owned it and now this past year I have finally been having problems with the computer freezing up and I had noticed the computer was getting really hot to the touch. This fan solved everything. The computer is always ice cold now, the fans blew out a lot of dust out of my laptop. No more freezing and for the price I really cant complain since I have a laptop that cost the price of 50 of these.

Works great and not heavy. Compact. Goes where I need to go and keeps up with my 8 hour work day keeping my laptop cooled off! Very happy with purchase.

This dual fan chill mat worked great up until my son accidentally broke the power cord to it. The cord is rather thin. Other than that this mat performed wonderfully!!

I bought this after a few weeks of owning my laptop. I could no longer deal with my fingers being on fire after a few hours of gaming. I really like my laptop but that is definitely my biggest issue with it. Luckily, this cooling pad does the trick. It reduces the temp of both the cpu/gpu by about 10 - 15 degrees Celsius. It might vary depending on your computer. I would definitely purchase this cooling pad for a laptop that is between 13 - 15” but nothing more than that.

It is great and does exactly as advertised. Keeps my computer cool during zoom meetings and is not too bulky.

I was skeptical on getting this cooling mat based on the reviews, but I decided to pull the trigger and am not disappointed whatsoever. This mat has kept my laptop considerably cool (even though the laptop gets quite hot to the touch on its own), and I'm more than impressed for what I have paid for this. Hopefully it can last more than a couple of years, then it'll be more than worth it!

The cooling mat works exactly as it should, and cools down my hot computer quickly and without issue. However it should be noted that while not loud by any means, the cooling mat fans aren't as quiet as I would have hoped, but its reasonable for how well it works. I would definitely recommend as a reasonably priced cooling mat for a laptop/notebook computer.

I really like this chill mat for my laptop and I think it works great. I gave only 4 stars because I feel like its legs needed to be a little longer for more elevation and air flow. Otherwise this is a great mat with 2 powerful fans without a lot of noise
