The cooling pad is a perfect fit for my Lenovo 5 Slim! It isn’t loud when the fans are running, fits snug under my laptop, it’s easy to use, and it does its job keeping my laptop from over heating!

The Targus - Dual fan chill mat cooling system works great. So far no issues with laptop over heating. I would recommend this product.

Nearly silent unit to help keep my kids gaming laptop cool but you do lose 1 usb port to run it but otherwise its pretty thin and does a nice job.

Giving 4 stars because although the cooling pad does work well and reduces the temps of my Alienware M16 laptop, the fans spin at "almost" the exact same speed but not quite. This leads to "beat" frequency where the sound has a rising and falling effect created by constructive interference and destructive interference. It get's really annoying to listen to after a while and since there is no way to change the fan speed I ended up opening up the cooling pad and soldering a 8.2ohm resister on to one of the two fans to reduce the voltage from 5v down to about 4v which reduced the beat frequency effect.

This is very lightweight and is quiet. I have had cooling pads in the past and they were heavier and when the fan was running it was a little noisey. This one is not uncomfortable when using it on my lap. Perfect size! Worth the money.

Good sleek fan setup, easily fits in my backpack for travel. Wish it had a usb c plug on the back instead of a proprietary one. But as long as I don’t lose that cord I should be good! Overall done everything I need it to do!

I am a fan of Targus products. This unit COMES WITH A CORD IN THE BOX. DON'T LOSE IT, or the fan won't work. The fan works when you plug the mat and the laptop together. IT ONLY WORKS WHEN THE COMPUTER IS ON. When the computer is off, the mat stops working as well. I don't find this to be a problem. The computer does need to sit on top of the mat as the fan is not too strong. RUNS WITH EXTREME QUIET. I love that.

This works with a 17" laptop and is BETTER than the Targus cooling pad designed for larger laptops. Why? Because this has full vent design meaning it helps air flow everywhere. The fans are also positioned more to the rear of the pad which aligns with the typical location of video cards and vents on a laptop. Since I have started using this my laptop cooling fans rarely kick in. FYI this is powered by a short removable mini USB cable. It does not come with external power, you power it via your laptop but you can use a 5v mini USB A external power / cable if needed.

Yes it did make a rattle noise when I bumped it, but a tap or shake made it all quiet again. So to simple to be a problem realistically. If your internal fan are getting week. This is a lifesaver to keep alive until you replace the internal fans. Room temp is at 71F and close to the AC as well. Without this fan running from the USB it will just freeze up. It does not seem like all that much air is moving, yet no freeze up when it is doing the job now for 2 weeks. So I am happy. New fans are on order and the geek squad will be seeing me soon to install them.

I bought this to go with my new laptop, and it works great to keep it cool. It is also very light and fits in my computer bag with no problem. However, be aware the product description is not accurate-this is not a usb hub, there is no place to plug in any usb devices-it is only a fan to keep it cooler. It is also not adjustable.

Works well keeping the laptop cool on a full day of gaming

I got this small cooling mat on sale and it was a good purchase, very light and sturdy, doesn't take much space and it can fit inside a schoobag. Very silent, does a good job in keeping cool my ne laptop.

This laptop cooling pad is lightweight, fits perfectly with my Sony Vaio laptop, matches the color and blends in, and does not take up a lot of space and is not bulky. The only problem I have had with it to date is that when you go to pick it up with the laptop, the squeezing on the fan makes a whirring sound that goes away when you set it down, purely a mechanical thing. If they made the cooling pad with harder plastic, this probably wouldn't be an issue. Overall best laptop cooling pad I've ever purchased.

Honestly it’s worth it because it does its job. Sadly we have to buy products for laptops to stop them overheating but can’t complain for the price.

The Dual Fan Chill Mat works great with my PReadator Helios NEO 16S AI Gaming Laptop. My powerful gaming laptop does get pretty warm during heavy gaming and this Chill Mat does the job to keep it cooled down.

MacBook Pro heats up and this Targus Chill Mat works great. Quiet -- hardly noticeable fan noise. Main thing is computer stays room temperature.

I got this Dual Fan Chill Mat Cooling System in Black by Targus from my local Best Buy. My husband needed something to help his laptop from overheating, so we read other reviews and saw this one. This chill mat is exactly how others have described it: quiet & helps alleviate the heat from your laptop. You do need a USB port for it to work, but other than that, no complaints here!

I bought it with my Best Buy Rewards Points. Overall, it provides a good experience. The fan is pretty quiet compared to many other similar products at the same price level. However, the cooling performance doesn't seem as powerful as those loud ones, but it's more than enough for working and regular gaming. I've been playing heavy games like Call of Duty on it without any heating problem. Overall, it's worth your money especially if you get it on a discount.
