easy to set up. does everything I expected and wanted it to do.

Great ease of installation in an office environment with quick connect/disconnect of my entire set up including two monitors, two printers, one camera and external hard drive. Multiple USB's and connections for more devices that you'll ever need.

I purchased this one to replace the 2.0 version because I needed/wanted one with a HDMI connection instead of DVI. Works great, one connection and I'm set to go,

Great docking station with many ports to select from.

Using this with my Yoga i7. Running dual 24" monitors, one over DVI and other over DVI via included adapter. The software was not newest out of box, go to targus website. Follow directions. Works fine. No screen flicker or signal drop. Just wish the USB port could power the Yoga, but Yoga needs 48watts!!

Just make certain that you have the correct cable sets for your monitors. Con: laptop will still require a second AC adapter for travel, as my Lenovos did not charge through the port replicator unit (like they do through a docking station). Great solution for laptops without docking capabilities...

The docking station is fairly well thought out but there is not a driver disc with it. There is also an appalling lack of information about how to set it up. Without prior experience using docking stations and inbound and outbound cables, this could be very confusing (and it was). Had to go online to find most of the documentation and all of the drivers. After the setup though, it works fine.

This is a convenient dock, has 3.0 usb, works fine once you get it going. I would have rather had it come with a mini cd or a super cheap usb. You have to flounder throught their website and hope you kinda pick the right once since stuff moved since they made it. I was able to do it but it was a PITA.

I wanted a dock that I could use with more than one laptop. This dock truly is universal and super easy to use. It is as close to plug and play as you can get.

Reviewed a few docking stations prior to purchasing this one: Dell, Lenovo, .... This one had the option available for dual screen and an HDMI option. It has frozen a couple of times recently requiring a disconnect and reboot but overall has worked out well for both work and personal computing.

We have several ultrabooks now that use Lenovo USB docks, and they're terrible, plain and simple. 50% failure rate within the first week. I've used a Targus like this in the past on my Surface Pro before the official Microsoft dock came out and never much more than a slight hiccup. Now, a couple years later with more mature drivers, I'm offering them to anyone with an ultrabook because they work much better than the Lenovo OEM docks and I have yet to have a single failure. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants a dock and only has a USB3 port as an option.

Purchased this for all my accessories. Seems it needs some additional USB ports, never get enough!

It functions as expected but sometimes takes a while to start up

I have a Dell version of this I use at work and seems to be as good as option at a cheaper price.

i returned becuase i got the DV2K version but this product i have previously and love it.

Read alot of reviews about this 3rd party docking station. The only reason I need to buy this is because this is pretty much the only Docking station I could use for my Toshiba laptop. So far all the connections are working properly without any firmware updates.

Cleans up the wires; very compact; was able to get a great deal on this obscure item.

A little expensive & takes awhile to set up but after all that it is good to go

Initially the duel screen setup and sound didn't function corectly. Win7 probably had some initial issues with the dock software, montor recognition, and sound card setup. After a reboot with everything connected, things work great - no issues since.
