Everything is great except the fan on the CPU is very loud. It's really annoying and I going to try and return it if it can't be fixed.

Your service was really bad so I returned the TV I won’t be buying from Best Buy no time soon I know your guys r short handed but that not a reason for the service you guy’s give with that service I don’t see Best Buy being in business for a long time sorry

This TV is solid. Good image processing and color fidelity. Perhaps it's QLED vs. standard LED. This is for my boat when I take customers out fishing on Sunday and they want to watch NFL games. I tried the Roku 43" first given good previous experiences with their UI on a set top box. Unfortunately, the set was a disappointment. Backlight bleed was just horrible. It may have had a bad polarizing filter as there are a lot of splotchy ares of light when displaying a black screen. The Roku has only a brightness adjustment for video. The image processing is bad. The image is soft, almost out of focus compared to the TCL. Frankly, the TCL is quite exceptional. I tested it in my living room comparing it unfairly to a Sony 83" OLED master series tv. The picture is good. Not OLED blacks and contrast but uniform, bright with a large assortment of video image adjustments to refine the picture to your environment. Sound is much better than the Roku. Not crazy about the Google UI but easy to navigate once set up. If this holds up, I can see more TCL products in the future in my house. Seriously impressive compared to the Roku. Samsung has a 43" OLED that is stunning but a bit spendy at over $1,000. For $249, the TCL is an easy choice.

This is an update to my previous review. I wanted to edit THAT review, but I can't find any way to do that, unfortunately.
I was able to figure out the issue with the TV following my software update with the assistance of TCL Support. They were very friendly and thorough.
My previous review was written after a long, frustrating day. In fact, this TV is quite nice. The picture is very bright with good color. It's not "true" HDR, but it is SO much brighter than my old television and you really shouldn't expect true HDR at this price point just yet. The internal speaker is surprisingly good as well. Voices are nicely separated from other sounds and are easily understandable. I have hooked up the television to a separate speaker bar and everything works together quite well. I'm glad I chose to go with a Google TV type television, as it works very well with my Samsung mobile phone. I basically just use my phone as a sort of TV Guide and then cast my channel choice easily to the television.
In short, I'm very happy with my purchase and the support that I received from TCL.

Four days after this TV was installed, it crashed and had to be replaced. Needless to say, I was very annoyed, especially when informed that a replacement would take two weeks. Now that the replacement is installed, I'm very pleased with it. The picture and sound are excellent. I just hope that it keeps running going forward.

I'm happy with this TV! The picture quality is quite good for a 43 inch screen, and it's nice to have 4K and Dolby Vision at this price and size. I use this exclusively with an Apple TV 4K and my AVR setup, so I can't comment on the sound quality or software. But for sheer image quality, this is a great buy. Sometimes you can't go with a larger TV, and this is a nice choice.

I went to try to buy a Sony, but I am a senior on a budget. I don't need a fancy tv, but i looked at both the TCL and Sony 43" and compared the two using the Best Buy comparison app and they both were similarly very close. Both pictures looked good to me, but the TCL was half the price.
