Easy to access apps great picture and a lot of TV for the money

Almost as great as the other ones priced way above it (see expert reviews). However, this particular unit froze and shutdown by itself sometimes. I just got it not sure if it's just this unit or all of them are like this. Life got too busy for me to try and have it fixed. But overall I'm still satisfied. It only happened but several times anyway.. and for the price it's worth it.

I bought the TV recently as a floor display and got a smoking deal. I'm very impressed with the clarity and color especially when running Netflix or Disney. I came from using a fire stick previously and am happy with the Roku interface. This TV operates faster than my old fire stick. Very happy with my purchase.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this TV and wow am I happy I picked this one. It has a beautiful bright picture with vivid colors and deep blacks. The local dimming seems very good. I like the built-in Roku as well. I would certainly recommend this TV for anyone who is budget conscious but wants high end features.

Well I bought this TV based on the numerous positive reviews here and online, when the TV arrived I set it up immediately to ensure there was nothing wrong with it, and I put on a few HDR and a few Dolby Vision movies. To say I was initially underwhelmed is an understatement as the movies looked 'OK" nothing special really, then I went to a few forums (AVSforum and Rtings) and read up how not all HDR or Dolby Vision cane make a screen look amazing, it all depends on how its shot by the camera and other technical things I didn't really understand... However, a recommendation was to go to Netflix and watch the series "Moving Art" and all I can say is WOW... The TV litterally came alive with color and beauty that really made me feel like I got my moneys worth. I will admit a few weak points of this TV is its motion handling, no matter the settings (low thru high) you will see some blurry blockiness images. Its not really that bad, but coming from a Vizio P series I never noticed the motion issues on there.. Overall I'm very pleased with the TV and after a few tweaks from the recommendations of the aforementioned forums the TV is now all I hoped it would be... Enjoy...

The TCL 65R625 is an amazing budget QLED TV. It took some calibrating but the picture quality is amazing, vibrant and the black levels are truly next level (compared to my old LED TV). Some weakness with the motion blur and motion judder but is mostly tolerable. Not great for sports. I still give this TV 5 Stars due to the cost and unbeatable value.

This T.V. may have the best picture in its price range. Plus Ruku T.V., which in my opinion has the best user interface. Just know it is only a 60htz T.V, which means you will see more motion blurr. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase. And the customer service rep that helped me was a great guy. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

This has been a great TV. The embedded Roku is snappy and easy-to-use. The RF remote works from a really far distance, even pointed away from the unit. The colors are vivid and 4k content looks stunning. I never bothered to try the speakers--always used a soundbar--but I'd assume they're probably just ok given the price point!

One of my TV's died and I found myself needing to replace it pretty quick. Fortunately for me this happened around the holiday season so there were some really good deals going on. I first encountered one of these TCL Roku TVs on a vacation a few months back. Hadn't even heard of it but was pretty impressed with how well they worked. This TCL did not disappoint. The picture quality is amazing. I really love the Roku functionality built in. You can very easily set up your streaming apps, and OTA connection all through the tv menu without any need for a set top box. I also want to point out the customer service at Best Buy during this as well. After I purchased the tv and got home and took it out of the box; the tv I had bought was all busted up something awful. I contacted my Best Buy store and told them and they had me bring it back to replace it with another tv - and - they took the other tv out of the box before I left the store to ensure it hadn't been damaged or mishandled. I really appreciated that. Although I think it may be just a good practice in the future to check your item while at the store before you leave. Especially if you live far away from your store.

I did extensive research before purchasing this TV. Everything I read talked about how great of value this TV is, everything I read was 100% accurate. This TV has been awesome. Awesome picture, watching things in 4k takes it up a notch from other similar 4k TVs. This feels and looks like a TV that costs double the price.

Was on the fence between this and the 2018 model without QLED, but went with this one when the price dropped to only $100 more than the 65R615. This is truly an amazing TV for the value, with support for DV and HDR10. For the money, you can't go wrong as it achieves HDR using QLED coupled with over 100 zones of local dimming LEDs. Can't comment on gaming, but this is excellent for Cinema, as the TV can output judder free 24p. To top it off, it's got Roku, which has perhaps the best app support of all smart TV OS available, with everything from Netflix/Hulu/Apple TV, to Hoopla/Kanopy.

I'm extremely happy with this television. I've always been skeptical about not getting one of the major brand names, but this is a homerun. Picture quality is better than more expensive tv's. Deep blacks and vivid colors. It's also very nice having the roku feature.

Only had the tv for a short period, but it’s everything I was hoping for. Picture is fantastic, Roku is simple to use, and you can’t beat the price. Super happy with my purchase.

I purchased this TV based primarily on the positive CNET review, indicating best in class for the money, and the competitive price point. This TV has excellent picture quality and the Roku platform is easy to navigate. I’m impressed by the color depth and clarity of this TV, at well under half the cost of an OLED TV.

Great TV for the price point. We have this thing on day and night. Gives a really good picture for the price (yeah there are better tv's for more money). Easy to set up and figure out how to use. Set up with a firestick 4k and really pleased with it.

Know this when you buy TCL you are playing the lottery. You will probably have to return a few before you get a good one and they are horrible with their warranty. Mine came with really bad dirty screen effect, dust in 4 parts of the screen and a dead pixel. The picture quality i felt was ok slightly above average. This is not a TV you want to hook up to a PC or a device that changes resolution, i notice sometimes when i alt tab out of a game my screen turned pink and i would have to change inputs to fix it. The built in video player for this TV is an outdated Roku player that struggles to play MKV files Speaking of Roku, i hated it they invade your privacy a lot to sell your data. They even sneak in a survey while you sign up without even asking you if you want to take part in it and they don't tell you that you have to turn something off deep in the options menu so they don't sell even more of your info. also the advertising is annoying some other tv companies have it,but these guys use a big chunk of the home screen for ads.

A friend recommended this tv. I bought and had two of them wall mounted. Very pleased for the price. Didn't have to break the bank, but still excellent picture. Volume could be enhanced with external speakers, but the one built in is adequate. Very easy to setup and mount the legs if needed.

This unit was purchased as the replacement for the living room television. It was mounted above a fireplace with about a 10 foot distance to the sitting area, and the picture quality is superb, especially the darker colors. Set up was simple and straight forward, and connecting a PS4 and an older Tivo was easy and went right the first time (including the remote for the Tivo, as I did not have to set-up a universal remote additionally). As a gaming tv, it has worked fine for both FPS and sports with no detectable lag times so far. As with all flat screens, you will need a sound bar/home theater speaker system to help with the volume/quality of sound. Two things to note for potential purchase - first, it is a ROKU tv, so be prepared for that user interface/setting up a basic ROKU account. Second, your connection points on this unit are on the lower right side of the screen, so plan ahead for power strips/cord set-up. All in all, this tv has been a great purchase so far and I am very happy with it.

Bought this TV yesterday. It was lightweight compared for our previous TV. Very easy to set up and use. Watched Netflix and cable so far. Picture is clear. Volume is adequate. There is a small light on the bottom of the TV that remains on while the TV is off. So far, so good. Happy with the purchase.

We purchased this 65 inch television to replace an older one. We are very pleased with picture quality and color. The two gentlemen from the geek squad were very helpful installing and setting it up. They were in and out within an hour or so. Very happy with their help and service
