  • Good price but slow/buggy software

    Price point was good, picture size also fine. I thought having Google TV built in was good, but I came from using a separate Chromecast (2+ years old) and the performance on this TV - which is displaying the same software/UI - is actually worse. On top of that, I can never upgrade the performance of the TV so it will only get worse. Lastly, like many other people report on the internet, I've been plagued by a known TCL issue where the TVs decide to dynamically adjust the brightness of certain scenes when viewing movies or TV shows. It's not common but when it happens it's incredibly annoying. I would not purchase this TV again because of the issues above, and had I know about these problems, I likely would have returned it but unfortunately I'm stuck with it.
