The price was right and it was getting time to replace the 8 year old (still working) TCL tv Easy setup, excellent picture right out of the box in "Movie"mode. Ordered on line with a no hassle pick up at the store. Cashier even talked me into a extended warranty while waiting. Good job Best Buy Melbourne.

Coming from a 6yr old LG BX65, I was disappointed in this tv's lack of depth and color saturation. I tried every possible combination of settings and never could get something I really liked. It never looked good on 4k discs or 4k broadcast. Ended up returning it after 7 days. Big disappointment.

The tv stopped working after 4 days of use... luckily bestbuy offered to send a team out to replace it for free. Its been a few weeks since then and the replacement is working great. Awesome picture quality! Hopefully it was just a dud and the new one last a few years!

Samsung loyalist who changed to TCL this go round

Loved how this looked in store. Was informed by the salesperson of all the awards this company has received and how their QLED was equivalent to most OLED. the one we were looking at was about $200 less than the other brand we were eyeballing and the TV looked amazing in store that we decided to roll the dice. Upon hanging it appeared slightly smaller than our Samsung (possibly the frame ?). The picture settings it initially came with just didn’t pop like it did in the store. I tweaked the settings a LOT and I still didn’t feel the backlighting was as vibrant as our Samsung. The colors were improved once I adjusted the settings to my liking, but the presets were way off compared to the demo. My BIGGEST hangup is the audio. The audio in the TV, you have to crank it up so high to hear it. Anything under 50, is almost inaudible in a large room. We have a soundbar and that’s the only way we get decent sound from this TV. The issue we run into sometimes with that is, sometimes the sound gets “stuck” where you can’t go up or down past a certain level and I have to switch it back to the TV speakers. So all in all, I probably wouldn’t purchase this again. My last Samsung died on me within a few years so that’s also what prompted me to change. But in the future, I think I’ll probably end up getting the brand I’m most familiar with.
