I love the square terminal. It is a good all in one product.

This was my second purchase of a Square Terminal. I have two therapy studios and was using the first terminal in the busiest one, and the small phone attachment for swiping credit cards at the smaller studio. After seeing the ease of use and more receipt options with the terminal, I decided I needed a second terminal. So glad I made that decision.

More than just a square credit card reader, it is business-on-the-go. This gadget is excellent for travel use or in the office. It prints receipts. It keeps records. It helps an organized person keep better records. Love this item.

I tried multiple Square terminals, but could not get them to connect reliably to my iPhone hotspot. So I was unable to use the Square terminal at two different trade shows. At first, I couldn't connect at all, so I contacted Square's technical support. The first tech support person (someone named Robert) was a jerk. Among other things, he kept trying to blame my iPhone instead of doing any real troubleshooting with me. My computer was able to use my iPhone as a hotspot. So was my iPad. So clearly the problem was with the Square terminal. Robert repeatedly told me to contact my phone carrier for support. But my carrier had nothing to do with the problem. I repeatedly asked Robert to refer the matter to his manager, but he refused to do so. Finally, I complained to Square's legal department and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That got me to someone else who legitimately tried to help. But he and his engineering team were unable to resolve the problem. Interestingly, another vendor at the most recent trade show somehow got the Square terminal working ... temporarily. She didn't do anything I hadn't already done. The terminal just decided to cooperate for her. It continued to work after I got it home. However, when I tested it a few days later, it no longer recognized my iPhone hotspot no matter what I did. Bottom line, the Square terminal does not work reliably with an iPhone hotspot, and Square is incapable of assisting customers with this problem.

Great mobile device for payments and receipts for business shows or business transactions on the go. Love it! It pairs well with my mobile hot spot or wifi in my experience so far. So easy to operate. Only downfall is that just like a cell phone, it may need to update at anytime and you will need to let it update until complete. This only happened once for about 5 minutes but, I was trying to complete a transaction and had to wait.

Love this machine and the customizing options. The ability to carry it around and print is simply amazing. I can be anywhere away from the store and get the current sales. I can print gift receipts. BUY THIS THING if you own a business.

Used the device for an offsite event. The device would not connect to wi-fi that was set to enter wi-fi password from a website landing page. We had to connect to a hot spot. It worked perfectly once connected to the hot spot.

Only worked for about 1 month then it would not connect to the network and I ultimately reached out to square to reset it but it requires a reset repeatedly but it doesn't work. I have been relegated to using my app on my phone.

This makes use of the same Square interface you are used to on the app, but in a great AIO device.

Much quicker and reasonable processing rate. Also has really good sales tracking.

I have a small medical clinic and I love this device. I have Square on my cellphone which worked fine but once I hired an employee, I needed the terminal for the office. I didn’t have to add anything because the information that was on my cellphone transferee over to the device after I login with my username and password.

Picked up one of these for our business and loved it so much, we bought a second unit. Square is super competitive with their rates and we dumped the expensive and cumbersome credit card machines from the stone ages. No more monthly fees, equipment rental fees, etc. Simple pricing and great software.

I like the product. It is easy to use. It has many useful features.

We have a Square iPad pos and add this terminal for when we get busy to keep the line moving and customers happy. It connects wirelessly to our Star termal printer so we don’t even use the built in printer. It also connect wirelessly to our cash drawer. Battery life last for hours.
