This is the calculator to get when you start taking accounting and finance courses in college. It calculates time value of money. TI also makes a more advanced financial calculator for twice the price, but that one is for experienced business professionals who are into advanced finance.

My son had to have this for Finance class. Reminded me of the TI I had 30 years ago. Told him this would last him as long as he needed it. You learn the functions and it does everything you need for financial purposes. Great calculator.

this calculator is great for middle school students in Algebra and even for Calculus classes at the college level. Definitely a calculator that you will have for a long time. Totally worth the investment!

This is a great calculator for many different financial needs. With roughly the same functionality as the professional model at a fraction of the cost. This isn't a basic calculator, and this is the model used in many college level accounting and financial courses.

If you are a finance or accounting student this calculator is the norm for schools and teachers tend to know how to use it. It is simple once you learn the different functions and very helpful because of the variety of formulas/functions.

I have been in banking for over thirty years and my calculator would no longer work. I looked around online and in various locations, Walmart, Target, Office Depot and Office Depot. Most of those were not cost effective and did not seem easy to operate. I then found this at Best Buy, it was less expensive than the office supply stores and fits all of my needs.

Had an older version of this same model from many years ago that stopped working. This was the exact model I needed for my math class. Basically the same calculator. Perfect for what I need.
