One of my favorite albums from Pink Floyd is the Division Bell. Although not a favorite among the majority of the fanbase, I found that album to be a great soundtrack for a sunny-day cruise, a departure of moods from albums past. This album consists of out-takes from the Division Bell recording sessions, mostly instrumental (other than the last song) and another beast altogether. I find it a good ending for their recording career.

I bought this after hearing the entire album somewhere else so I knew what I was getting into. This is not an album of new materiel and is instrumental for the most part. The blu-ray offers an excellent 5.1 hi-res mix that sounds fantastic. If you are a big fan of Pink Floyd, you need this.

From what I've read this is music left over from the Division Bell sessions and it plays like it. It's not terrible and the blu ray disc gives you 5.1 sound, but for a casual Floyd fan it doesn't do much. Still it is better than a lot of what passes for music these days.

This will be the last studio release from the epic band Pink Floyd. I am a long-time fan and like to support the band anyway I can. This package has the cd, plus high quality versions of the songs on a blu-ray. Many extras and videos are included. This is a box release, and includes some postcards and a hologram.

Done as a tribute to the late Richard Wright keyboardist of Pink Floyd. The music is good but I see why it was left on the cutting room floor when the album "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" was released. The Bluray disc with the surround tracks in DTS HD Master Audio is worth the price of admission all by its self.

Instrumentals fill this disc. One song the final vocals, which happens to be the last song on this disc. Blu-ray audio sounds excellent. David Gilmour's guitar work as always exceptional.

I will start off by saying I have only listen to this album once. I am a fan of Pink Floyd, so i bought this album on site. It is mostly instrumental and it sounds alot like Dark Side of the Moon. I wonder if this is material they recorded while making DSotM. The videos are studio sessions and not music videos that the band is known for making. If you are a fan of Floyd then this is a must buy to complete your collection. If you are just interested and only flirt with Floyd do not buy it.

What can I say? It's Pink Floyd!! Even their bad is better than most. This is another great CD from one of the best rock bands ever! Buy it!

This cd starts slow and progresses to the pink Floyd you will remember from division bell. It is almost entirely instrumental except the last song. I think a fitting close to one of the best band ever!

It is just an okay cd. It is Pink Floyd, so you got to have it. Not their best. But worth it.

If you are a true Pink Floyd fan, one who appreciates *ALL* of their output throughout the 60's and early 70's (pre-Dark Side), you will "understand" this album and how it fits within the entire Pink Floyd catalog. This album is a good representation of how Pink Floyd created their music before they found more focused Waters in 1973. The production is top notch and there are many catchy nuggets within this collection of material not used for the Division Bell release. When I heard about this project, I had my doubts about how they could make something like this work. And although I am pleasantly surprised on how well it turned out, I still believe that a fan of that early material will better appreciate what this record means and how to truly appreciate it.

This album sounds like classic Pink Floyd at their best. It's now my 2nd favorite only to Dark Side of the Moon. Highly recommended to any fan of great music.

Bought this for my father in law for Christmas! He really enjoys listening to this album.

This new release will return you to the days of classic Floyd. Think "Dark Side of the Moon" with incredible 5.1 surround! A must have for any Floyd fan!
