This movie is from the early 50's and has so much history. It is a movie to enjoy its sights and sounds with the list of songs. It is also to learn for all the information shared in the CD's. I was glad I remembered the movie and enjoyed to it again! You should see it too, you will be glad you did.

She had seen it as a child, but never like this.. Restored and in Blu-ray and Digital formats, its almost like watching it on the big screen again, and did I mention the dolby sound soundtrack... its actually probably better than its original debut... :)

Excellent price for a very exclusive collector's item movies: The King and I and The Princess Bride. Indeed, a very nice HD quality movie to keep.

So stoked to have found this blu-ray. Somehow I hadn’t owned The King & I but my local Best Buy happened to have it in stock.

A widow accepts a job as a live-in governess to the King of Siam’s children. Handsome and talented cast, headed by the unsurpassed Yul Brynner and lovely Deborah Kerr. Rita Moreno as the lovelorn Tuptim and Carlos Rivas as her Burmese beau. Terry Saunders is attractive as the "first wife," Patrick Adiarte is trim as the young prince and Martin Benson does very nicely with the abbreviated role of the prime minister. If you don't see it, I believe , you'll be missing a grand and moving thing.

A very beautifully filmed Broadway musical. Great musical score.
