Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the engaging gameplay, expansive open world, and compelling story of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Explorer's Edition." Many appreciate the game's vast content and exploration opportunities, along with the included map and guide. However, some players found the difficulty challenging, and the weapon durability system frustrating. The price point and additional content of the Explorer's Edition were also frequently praised.

Seriously, if you or a loved one own a Switch and don't own this game, the Switch should be taken and given to someone who knows how to use it correctly. What are you even doing reading the reviews, get on it.

I'm 30 hrs in and I barely scratched the surface of this game. I enjoy exploring and finding new challenges in every area. The shrines offer unique puzzles which are easy once you get your powers.

Honestly the most lack luster Zelda experience ever. The world is overkill, WAY too big. The enemies are annoyingly overpowered. The HP is stupid, if you truly grew up playing Zelda you’d know that when ever Link gains a heart container it not only builds up his strength and vitality but his spirit. In this game you get one shotted by the weakest enemies. The worst part is the breakable weapons. There are only four main dungeons, each of which is the same thing over again. The rest of which are stupid Sheikah Shrines with easy puzzles. The bosses are repetitive and bland, not to mention easy to kill. And don’t get me started on Calamity Ganon, easiest in the series. Then you have stupid mechanics like you can’t climb while it rains but you can certainly scale a frozen mountain peak, because rain is so much more slippery than ice and snow. The story was SO bad! Not only was it short but it only focused on Zelda and Link. Even though yes they are the main characters of the series but they introduced four main characters in the game too namely: Mipha, Daruk, Revali and Urbosa. Even with the memories we only see what they were capable of as Champions but then got thrown away like last nights dinner. I wish the developers would fix these issues with a DLC. I wish they had added a Blacksmith who can harden weapons you like so you could keep that weapon until you didn’t want it, but he couldn’t harden magical weapons like the frost and flame ones. And he could harden more than four and only one Bow. Let’s be honest, the boomerang is a useless weapon. Between the weapons breaking and the overpowered enemies and easily depleting HP make the game unbalanced and sours the experience. Seriously if you like all of the stupid, what seems like after thoughts, in this game you’re not a true Zelda fan. A true Zelda fan wants dungeons that are unique and puzzling. Boss battles that are unique and you try and survive while searching for the weak spot. Enemies that are well balanced, Bokoblins should be the weakest no matter the color and a Stone Talus should be the most powerful. That would balance out the damage ratio too. And a story that’s actually interesting.
