It is a movie suitable for all audiences, I recommend it to everyone, Leo is a super actor and in this film I could not miss the action and the desire for more.

I absolutely love this movie. I already owned it, but I had heard too many great things about the quality of the 4K. It is so perfect! Worth the double dip.

Wow, what a unique experience it was to see The Revenant. First, the world in which it was set was absolutely immersive. It's one thing to film your movie in beautiful and open spaces, but it's quite another to do it well and get the camera angles right. The Revenant does both almost perfectly. I found myself thinking that the scenery alone was worth the price of my ticket. Second, I wouldn't consider myself a Dicaprio fan per se, but my goodness he really impressed me here. At times the intensity of his very expressions told us more than mere words ever could. The Revenant, meaning a person who has returned, tells the story of exactly that. A man is brought to the brink of death, fueled not so much by the will to survive as much as the need for revenge. Hugh Glass is an almost ethereal and other worldly character traveling the mystic world of the early 20th century west. Here we have a character study that somehow brings that genre even into its action scenes. I checked the historical record and was surprised that a good amount of the movie stayed true to it. Sure, some aspects were changed but it made for a more satisfying ending. On a lighter note, the man in the picture fell asleep after the first fifteen minutes, sleeping and snoring until the credits rolled. So, clearly the movie will not keep everyone's interest. Don't see this movie if you are looking for something that is fast paced. Do see this if you desire a top tier epic period drama.

Excellent movie with an amazing transfer. This movie should be the standard for the UHD format. Makes excellent use of audio systems too.

Bought this for my husband to go with his 4K tv and DVD player. Besides being a great movie the visuals and surround sound were amazing.

This movie is long but entertaining especially in 4k. The landscapes jump out at you and you feel as if your in the movie.
