This is a cult classic. A lot of people haven’t seen this but need to. Not a bad addition to the collection.

This is one of the best gang movies i have ever seen. Only in this movie can a gang member wear roller skates and look cool. Im so glad we get the steelbook for this movie. You definitely have to add this one to your collection if your thinking about it

The Warriors have been waiting for this movie to come out in a steelbook. Great movie to watch. And as for the steelbook great design.

Everything about this is wonderful except for the directors cut. I don't know what he was thinking but the new cut-aways to fake comic page images just does not work. Luckily you still get the theatrical release on digital.

I have seen this movie over 100 times. Its a cult classic. The baseball furys is my favorite. I couldn't pass up this in a steelbook. Had to have it in my collection. For those who love this movie its a no-brainer!

Great movie. I didnt think much of it the first time watching it. But after the second time i knew i had to pick it up.

The movie that delve deeper into the street gang to give a glimpse of it's unflattering lifestyle surprising gave much empathy to the people who live it.

A good release from Paramount, but not the greatest. I am very pleased to have the steelbook now and the original version. However, the Theatrical version is only on the DVD included. Looks to be a DVD that has been previously released. Nothing new in this package other than the steelbook and the Digital code. Artwork is solid., Love it. Inside though is okay. No scenes on the inside of it. I would have loved for them to put the last scene in the movie inside the steelbook of them all on the beach at Coney Island. I had the previously released Blu-ray already, so it is the same one as far as material is concerned. The artwork on the previous one is much better. Here, we have a lazy blue color on it for the Blu-ray. The movie looks and sounds great on the HD Blu-ray. The DVD here is okay, with specks of dirt throughout the movie. A solid 4 stars here but could have been better. I recommend if you do not own the steelbook and digital code.

the good and bad first the bad is director's cut is not good the cut 4 mins out of the film tryed to make it look like a comic book BAD IDEA every warriors fan hated the cut !!!! the good news is the warriors original cut is on the 2nd disk this makes it worth it nothing cut and no cartoon edit , and the making is nothing new and they are ok the other thing is theres no deleted scenes .......again the warriors original cut is why everyone is buying this

My all time favorite flick from '79!!! (*Cling Cling Cling* "Warriors...Come Out To Play-ay!") I remember catching the $.50 matinee every day for a week after school. Along with the cheap popcorn and soda back in the day, a $1.00 was all it took. Had to add this steelbook to the collection, hope a 4k version is to be released to add to the steelbook. Keep'em com'in Bestbuy!!!

Despite not being in 4K, this was a must-own for me being one of my favorite films growing up. It has both the theatrical and director's cut for those wondering. This will do for now until a distributor realizes there should be a 4K release of both versions. A classic film that inspired filmmakers and quotes alike.

Walter Hill’s gritty and imaginative NY gang chase movie is one of his best, Good bad guys, bad bad guys and worse bad guys race through the city with some truly chilling scenes among the action. I expect a 4K version of this soon, since it’s from a 4K scan. Come out and playyyy.

Very cool steelbook edition. Blu-ray and DVD included. The blu-ray is the director's cut and has been remastered, the comic book style scene cuts are a bit strange, but okay. The DVD still looks good. About an hours worth of special features on the blu-ray.

Great quality and the steelcase was without damage. The movie was fantastic as always even with the new features added into the playback with the mix of comic book style art. I would reccomend this to anyone who is a fan of this film.

The original great action movie. The "Directors Cut" which Walter Hill felt guilty for all the violence he caused back in 1979 and ruined his own movie by adding comic book scenes. The DVD is the original Theatrical release.
