Great series I would totally recommend that you watch this series

If you enjoyed programs such as The Tudors and The Borgias, you will enjoy The White Queen. Based on several of Philippa Gregory's books, the miniseries chronicles the power-plays attempted by various women in the course of the War of the Roses. Tudors-fans will be pleased to see James Frain as "the Kingmaker", the Duke of Warwick and Borgias-fans will enjoy David Oakes as "George, the Duke of Clarence" and Jeremy Irons' son Max Irons as "King Edward." Janet McTeer from Albert Nobbs and Juliet Aubrey from the British series Primeval are other actors of note in the cast.

From the acting to the set design to the Wardrobe is a first-class event in this mini-series ,I wish they would have been more episodes for an additional season for for this particular miniseries. Anything's possible with other shows coming back in and even redoing several miniseries so cross your fingers out there.so run don't walk and get this mini series for your collection !

The White Queen is an historical mini-series which has two other stories that go along with it. Based on the books by Philippa Gregory, you will find this series enjoyable. The actress, Rebecca Ferguson, is wonderful as the White Queen. After watching this series, I look forward to seeing the other two books being made into their own mini-series or movie.

I did like this series! There was a great storyline! The actors and actresses are great! If you're a fan of all the Starz series like I am, then I would definitely buy this series! The next series I'm getting is the first season of Black Sails when it comes out later this year!!! Again, Great Series!!! :)

Excellent DVD! Watched it as a Stars Original series. Excellent adaptation The White Queen, The Red Queen, and The Kingmaker' s Daughter. The acting is superb. Great historical novels if you like English history. Highly recommend the DVD.

I love English history, and the great love story of Edward and Elizabeth is so wonderfully told. The ups and downs of the war of the roses was well told but you so loved the characters. It was well acted. Overall I highly recommend this DVD.

The movie is a series which ran for one year, It is very similar to others that are currently running. It takes place in the 1400's during the War of the Roses. It is good but limited. I would recommend the movie series if you can pick it up at a good price.

I loved this dvd set. The characters in this story were so good, you love both the good and the bad guys. I really hated it when it ended. I looked online and it is based on things that actually happened in history,

If you haven't gotten into this series, you're really missing out. It has everything that a good TV show needs. Lots of scandals and drama that will have you on the edge of your seat. A must buy for any TV lover!

A fine history of the end of the Wars of the Roses which brought the Tudor dynasty to the English throne. The actors are superb in their roles, and the story is entirely absorbing from start to finish.

Shakespeare gave us the War of the Roses from the point of view of the men; this series gives us this turbulent time in English history from the point of view of the women participants.

Enough history mixed with it could have gone this way to make it an interesting mini- documentary. I enjoy English history about their King and Queens.

Historical drama is well acted with lots of plots and action. Saw on television and liked it so much I bought it when I saw that it was available at Best Buy.

I found that watching the dvd was not wasted time. It provided educational insight about lesser known British monarchy in an entertaining manner.

This is an intriguing historical drama and love story set during a turbulent time in British history. It is both well written and well acted.

I first watch this movie on TV . Love it so I had to purchase it . Best buy had it for $14.99 and wal mart had it for $24.99. So I got it at great deal

Fantastic settings and outfits. A little loose playing with historical facts but expected.

i liked this mini-series a "game of thrones" for women the power is not only with the men in charge but the women carry the torch

Really enjoyed The White Queen. Full of suspense, drama, action, romance, and history! Sad when it ended! Great entertainment! Highly recommend it!
