Miserable device to try to control. If you select the options in the wrong order, there is no "reset" or ability to change anything. We are very close to replacing this, just due to the exasperating controls.

The machine looks good and does a good job cleaning, and it was free with other Thermador purchases, BUT the touchpad is a pain because you have to push the buttons numerous times before they work, especially the "start" button, which has to be pushed anywhere up to ten times before it responds. Such a simple technology and so screwed up here.

I purchased the Thermador dishwasher, and it’s been great for the past couple of years that we have owned it. The dishes are always clean. We used to have a GE profile and the difference is day and night! The modes especially the 30 minute quick wash is life saver. The ability to move the middle shelf to adjust the utensils height and the top silverware rack is huge upgrade for us.

So disappointed! Always wanted Thermador but my Kitchenaid dishwasher was much better. This one leaves dishes wet most of the time, it never seems like detergent is completely rinsed. There is no heating element. There is often an unpleasant smell from the time I got it. When I remove The filter at the bottom to be sure it’s clean there is always water just sitting in the drain. My Mom has same one in her newly built house and says she tried to warn me but our house already had it installed and I didn’t realize it was the same one she spoke of. Buttons are temperamental as well and often times I open it to discover it didn't finish a cycle.I would not recommend this product at all.

Wow, I wish I didnt go with thermador! Everyone kept saying to go with the "high end" brand. Well let me tell you what you can expect. My dishwasher stopped working after 2 years. Getting a hold of customer service is a major task. Expect a minimum of 45 minute waiting on the phone. Then they want to charge you $379 just to come and check it out. And if you dont use them to fix it, your warranty is voided. Major disappointment, major regret buying this mess. Brand name no longer means quality, just that you'll pay more for repairs!

This was the only dishwasher I could find during COVID when everything was backordered. Previously had a Bosch at my old house and loved it. I know Thermador is owned by the same company, but I preferred my Bosch. It was delivered in August 2021 and less than three years later, it is broken. Also, the installation that Best Buy performed was so awful that I considered hiring another Company to uninstall and reinstall the dishwasher. I ended up not following through with that, but the individual that came to the house struggled with how to install it and did not secure the dishwasher to the cabinetry.

The user interface on this unit is flawed. There is a light projected on the floor when it is in operation, but if you open the door the unit pauses. If you close the door, it remains paused, but the light *stays on*. The result is that the dishwasher can be paused forever with the indicator light on, so you cannot tell if it is running or paused. Additionally, if you do not close the door within 4 seconds of pressing start the dishwasher enters the same paused state. This means if you press start and close the dishwasher 5 seconds later, the indicator light turns on, everything appears like it is running, but instead the dishwasher will sit there doing nothing forever. Do not buy this unit, you will be frustrated.

Thermador dishwasher was installed 8 days ago. To date it hasn't washed a single dish. Following directions carefully it always starts and its blue light comes on and then shuts itself off after one minute. Do not know it is defective or we were sent the wrong directions. We have Best Buy technicians scheduled to come and check it out on Dec. 27. Earliest we could get.

Thermador Dishwasher purchased less than one year ago. Very disappointed. The machine inexplicably goes into "Demo" mode. Resetting the machine is stupidly complicated: hold reset resume for 3 secs until display shows 1 minute; close the door; wait for blue light at bottom of machine to go out; open the door; turn off machine; turn on machine; select cycle. Its ridiculous.

It's tough to write an accurate review for Thermador. They cannot seam to live up to their delivery commitments. Every time I follow up with Thermador I get a different answer. I was told my dishwasher was delivering today 12/19 and when I called because it didn't come in I was told it is 6-7 MONTHS out. This is the worst company that I have ever worked with period, I will never ever buy from them again.
