Customers are saying

Customers find value in the SMART 700W ATX 80 Plus Power Supply's powerful performance, competitive price, and quiet operation. Many appreciate its ease of installation and compatibility with their systems. However, some users wish for a modular design to improve cable management. The non-modular design is a drawback for some, making cable organization more challenging.

The Thermaltake Smart 700W Power Supply is a dependable choice for those seeking a balance between performance and affordability. With a 700W capacity, it provides ample power for mid-range gaming setups and general computing needs. The 80 PLUS certification ensures energy efficiency, contributing to a greener and cost-effective operation. The power supply's quiet operation is noteworthy, thanks to its intelligent fan design. It remains cool under moderate loads while maintaining a low noise profile. The modular cabling system allows for a cleaner build, enhancing airflow and cable management. While it may not be designed for extreme gaming rigs, the Thermaltake Smart 700W is a solid, budget-friendly option for users looking for reliable power delivery and a straightforward installation process. If you're building a mid-tier system on a budget, this power supply is worth considering.

Well made unit, wiring has a good protective shielding with multiple outlets for various parts. This is much better unit than the one I replaced in my computer and works better. Installation was very easy. Price is reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend.

Easy install. Read reviews beforehand. One if main concerns is how loud it is. It is not loud at all. Very happy for mist part. Only complaint is the length if the cables. My power supply mounts at bottom of case and in order for cable to connect for my cpu it has to run across my motherboard. I was unable to route that cable around the motherboard.

Great power supply for a quick replacement. The price is great, and quality is very good. You get allot of power supply for your money. If you need to replace a blown power supply quick and for cheap , this is always on sale. Its not top end but does the job

This review should be a 5-star for the product, its quiet and well made, solid performance. I deducted one star because the Best Buy had a terrible selection of Power Supplies and components, in fact I found this one on the wrong shelf on my way out the door. Its is more then I needed, but it got the job done!

It's an inexpensive power supply, more than enough for my system. A lot of power supply snobs with more money than sense seem to not like this one because it's not Gold rated. Who cares? Really? It's running what I have with no problem. Quiet. Rails seem tight. Heavy (usually the sign of a reasonable power supply). What else do you want?

The unit seems to work excellent, seems to be quieter than the old one that bit the dust, and now I have plugs for heavy duty graphics card if I choose to install one. also, the original power supply was only 300 watts. not crazy about the black wires. kinda hard to see when reaching down into the computer to plug things in,

I was originally after a 750w Corsair but they were sold out everywhere. I found this 700w Thermaltake for a very reasonable price and it had the plug I needed for a GTX 1070 graphics card so I got it and I'm very happy with it. Works great. Does not get hot and the fan is relatively quiet. Great value.

Worked good for upgrading my gpu. Was a little overkill on the power needed but was a good price and was trying to future proof my pc. Little did I know the newer cards that came out need an electric substation to work. Guess we are lucky they aren’t readily available.

The Thermaltake SMART 700W ATX 80 Plus Power Supply is a solid choice for a budget-friendly and reliable power supply. While it's a non-modular unit, which can make for some challenging cable management, it delivers consistent and quiet power for mid-range systems. It's an excellent value for the price, making it a popular option for those building a new PC on a budget.

Got this in a pinch and it works great, but if I had the extra cash, I would have definitely gotten a gold standard modular power supply. Also, cable management is no fun with these kinds of power supplies.
