    It's a PSU. Keep in mind that it has only one CPU connector, but at 600W that's typical. However... when you order it from BestBuy and select "next day delivery," they will ship it to you from Alaska! (Even though it's available in every store nearby.) So, it will take over a week to get to you. Contacting support is pointless. All they did was copy/paste a wall of text from their "empathy" folder and even forgot to delete the empathy header. Basically, they're saying they care so much but won't do anything about it, so I should go kick rocks and wait for it to arrive after a week. Thanks BB!

    So, I bought 2 of these at my local Best Buy on a Black Friday sale. When I opened them up, they contained the wrong power supplies, they had the Smart Series 80+ gold inside the box, the serial numbers did not match. Upon research, I find that the Smart 80+ gold only listed on the Australia site, and the GX2 listed on the Latin American site. Nothing on North America. I sent a ticket with pictures and never heard anything from Thermaltake. I don't blame Best Buy for this as its clearly a quality control issue with Thermaltake. This seems to be a far to common issue among various industries. So check them when you get them.

    I bought this expecting tough power psu but when i opened it I instead received a SMART unit. It was a christmas gift so it wasnt opened until a few months later when i put the pc together. Buyer beware

      This was a discrepency in the marketing of the product. The "smart" unit is the same as GX2. The unit should be rated gold, just like it woud with the GX2.

    On sale these are amazing deal. gold plus, flex soft so easy to snake MB cable around. powered a mech 6600gpu ryzen 5600 cpu 4 sticks of ram just fine. cpu cooler and 5 case fans. I have rigs running 500w and 600w GX Toughpower nice for cheaper builds. step above corsair in feel. if not worried about future modular go for these and save.

    Excellent power supply, it supported a Ryzen 5 5500 and an RTX 5070 in stress testing, it resists electricity problems well, but I recommend having a power bank anyway.
