Sound and signal range weak

To test it, I put my keys in my car, which I measured to be 16 feet from my home router to the Tile device. I activated my Find My Tile alert on my phone and repeatedly got a notification saying it could not find my Tile. I then changed positions of the tile and put my keys right on the dashboard, had no effect. I was picking up a clear Wi-Fi signal 39 feet from the house in the same direction so it was not a Wi-Fi signal issue, the receiver on the Tile is just very weak. Additionally, I put a tile in my wallet (as was suggested by their marketing campaign) and it fails to find the tile 70% of the time, and what it does find the tile, the alert is so weak it is barely intelligible. Very frustrated by my brand new $25 paperweight

Tile Mate

The old ones more sturdy than new ones of same size. Unfortunately I've had a lot of issues with this new Tile not alerting properly or at all on my Samsung phone. Also, the Tile app has been updated but is a bit confusing on how to activate a new Tile on the phone

Key Tile
