I have tried a few neck fans, two $30 options and this Torras Coolify Cyber. There is a huge difference! USE: The Torras is able to actually cool the air before it is blown both up and down your neck. The addition of the cooling pads (sides and rear) is also amazing. In 95f+ Texas heat and humidity I has feeling a difference. My body was hot, my skin felt the heat of the sun, however, with my neck being cool I have been able to be outside more doing the things I love (the neck/base of the skull is the thermostate of the body). BATTERY: I can get a few hours of use using the cooling pads and <30% fans. I don’t feel the need to turn the fans above 60%. Best noise to cooling. This has been enough for my use and the charging speed is plenty quick. If you need more time, carry a battery pack that can output a minimum of 15w Type C. APP: I did not expect to use the app at all. Why would you need an app to use this? The short answer is, you don’t need to use the app, which is great. I did find the app useful to set the fans to about 5% with the cooling pads on. This is a nearly silent setup and very effective cooling. Something I tested but have not used in practice is the fact that this can also heat! I will put the heat to the test this winter and happy that this can do both. I will be flying with this later this month, looking forward to beating the hot airplane! VERDICT: I have already recommended this to friends and have to keep it away from my teenage son. If you are the fence, consider this an investment in your wellbeing as it will enable you to be outside more!

It blows air at an ok rate, the device gets cool to the ac function works. The app works as well. But i have long hair and the back of it gets hot as an ac unit would but because of that it makes my hair hot so i get this icy hot result (if that makes sense) did not have it long enough to test it in other seasons other than the summer heat in texas I get heat exhaustion easy and this did help with that a bit due to the device being cold on my neck. But needed to keep a battery pack with me to make it last longer which for some neck fans isnt possible. Doesnt blow enough for outside heat but does better than most. Didnt use the app to control it as much as i thought i would and never didnt have it on full blast unless using it as a white noise machine so the extra features you pay extra for didnt get used rnough for me to justify keeping it.

I got this for a family member who is having a really hard time with hot flashes. This is making her life so much better right now. She has no need for the heating function, but the cooling aspect offers real relief. Earned me major brownie points.

This Coolify definitely makes yard work easier and enables me to stay out in the heat longer which allows me to get more work done, so I can get to fun activities faster. After a quick charge, the Coolify is ready to make those outdoor fun activities even more enjoyable.

Bought these to cool during summer baseball games. They are light, comfortable and helped cool my neck and head during those hot days of summer

Low expectations but high results. I go to conventions and walked with it. Kept me cool and was not a nuisance. Gonna buy another one.

Maybe if my crappy 1 year old a/c hadn't stopped working yesterday I would like THIS better, but it burned and ripped out my hair... And it only feels cool for about a minute, then you have to take it off for a few minutes, so you never actually cool off...

don't waste your money. It isn't worth the price or anywhere close to it. It feels good for about a minute if using it outdoors in the heat. The cooling is pretty much just some cooling pads and as far as I can tell it is just blowing air. It is a personal fan not an AC. I took it to a theme park and it did little to nothing for me. I also took it on a bike ride and again little to nothing.
