Nice picture, smartcast didn't work

Called Chromecast customer support (as the instructions on the screen suggested when it wouldn't sync). They told me I had to talk to Toshiba because they didn't support this television. I decided to get a bigger, cheaper television and bought a Chromecast device.

Even went to the Toshiba website for help, got nothing. I had ordered my Amazon Prime free 30 day look, hoping to use it here, but could not. I returned the item.
