For what I needed this TX to do, after a month, it still is over performing what I expected. This little review is a double dip for the Best Buy family. The TV is great for what it is, plus a lot extra, for example, no sound bar purchased. The reviews said it has decent sound out of the box, it does. The other part of the double dip, I got this one at 25.00 off on the "Open Box" deal. Those five stars are for Open Box as well. It may have taken two extra days to get to me, since it's open box, a certain one somewhere, as apposed to one of ??? at the closest. This got to me ahead of time and if it was opened up before, I couldn't tell. All the parts and remote were there and looked / worked as new. Now I always look at Best Buy AND for any Open Box or other deals when buying. You mileage may vary. Now about that 1000 piece, "some assembly required", stand bought elsewhere by you know who...

I had bought 2 Element Brand Flatscreen on sale at Target Boxing Day (One 42"in and one 55"in) and was unsure about them as the quality of image and set up was a bit more than I bargained for. I happened to go with my roommate to Best Buy and he pointed out this Toshiba and I was immediately drawn in by its high definition image, sleek thin style, set up and $250.00 price tag. I decided to return the other 2 and purchased this one! Best decision of the new year! Plus it looks great in my living room!

Works Great as a 43" 4k Monitor with HDMI 2.0

I am not a PC gamer. I use my system for detailed terrain map-making and other forms of graphic design. I was looking for a single 4k monitor to replace an array (2 rows by 2 columns) of 22" monitors. With a size of 43", this is a close match to the size of the previous 4 monitor array, and being 4k, would match the resolution of the 4. I was a little fearful of potential HDMI performance issues (since 4 times the data would need to be transfered), so I was looking for a unit that supported HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort. This unit fit the bill. I ordered a DisplayPort-to-HDMI 2.0 converted, but this had not arrived prior to me hooking up the LG with a DVI-to-HDMI cable, and I have found that it works just great. I can even bost the resolution of my NVidia GTX760 up to 4096x2160 with no issues. PS: It works great as a Smart TV too...

I purchased it online, picked it up at the nearby BB store, an associate loaded it in my car. My adult son removed the existing Olevia set, quickly hooked up the antenna, DVD, and Chromecast,. On the Antenna-cable option, scanned for broadcast channels and was up and running. What a great picture. With the Chromecast, there was no need for a smart TV. The picture is great - bright and high resolution.

Great value for the money. Very light Tv for wall mount installation. Mine is wall mounted in my home gym. Beautiful colors and very good image resolution. Not so good sound coming out of the speakers.

Bought this for my game room. Upgrading from a 32" tv, so this 43" is quite the jump. This thing is fantastic, and for the price! Paid $250 today and been gaming (COD, BF4) and watching Netflix for a good 4 hours. Very happy with picture quality. Not the best when gaming. But Netflix was amazing. Very slim and sleek. And only weighs 17lbs! Put together by myself in 10 minutes. Very simple.

I was looking to get a new TV for my own room, since it's the holidays and I had money to spare. The price point on this TV caught my eye before anything else; a good deal and I didn't have to deal with Black Friday shoppers to get it. It's been a month now since I bought the TV. If you're looking for a decent HDTV for a bedroom or a small living room, this is a good choice. The size is good and the sound quality is better than on some of these flat screens, and thankfully it's not too heavy either so it's easy for me to clean it, and around it. I definitely recommend this Toshiba.

This TV is awesome. I bought it to replace a 42 inch that broke. I am impressed with the picture. The colors are brighter, the High definition is superior to my old set. The only draw back is it has only one set of cable connections, but has three HDMI connections. If you want to play a video game on this, buy an extra HDMI cable, if you have the connection on a game system. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a TV that is a great buy.

I bought this television on sale right before Black Friday. I knew that I could find a cheaper TV if I waited a couple of days, but I was worried that I would end up with a really cheap, off-brand piece of junk. This set had a really good picture in the store, and I have had good luck with the Toshiba brand before, so I bought it. I have been really impressed with it. The picture is really harsh from the factory and has a lot of halos and other artifacts, but once I took the sharpness down and turned off the edge enhancement it has a really nice picture. I haven't bothered to run a calibration disc on it but the colors are rich and don't seem over-saturated. I generally hate LCD televisions because of the uneven lighting and the distracting "soap opera effect" from the motion interpolation. However, the lighting is very consistent, even at the corners. And as for the soap opera effect, there is none because it has a 60Hz refresh rate. I haven't watched a ton of action blockbusters on it, but I haven't noticed any significant motion blur. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this set.

Bought this for my mother to replace an old Sony CRT HD TV. She didn't need any bells and whistles like 3D or Smart TV features. Very pleased with the size, picture and especially the price.

Got the Toshiba for 250$, which is a very nice price for a 43" 1080p TV. Picture is good (albeit not amazing), has 3 HDMI inputs and optical sound out which are the 2 features I needed. Get a soundbar/external sound system as sound from internal speakers is not satisfactory (but this is the case with most flat TVs today). Been using it for a month now - no complaints

Got this at a great black Friday deal. It shipped speer fast, like the next day. Had a great picture worth good bright color. Only downsides are the volume isn't the Greatest. That can be fixed with a soundbar. Also the remote, intermittently works. I have to tap it a few times before it works. Other than that, it's a great tv.

This 43 inch television is a good size for the money. I have had it over a month and it is great. I was surprised it is so lightweight compared to the 46 inch I bought 4 years ago that was like twice the weight. So easy to carry and attach to wall.

The price on this item was great! The picture is perfect and the color outstanding. I did not need a smart tv and this one fits all my needs. The size is perfect for my living room, the sound is good and I am very happy with this Toshiba model. I have had Toshiba's in the past and have never been disappointed.

Purchased this on November 29, 2015 when our previous TV got the blue screen of death. We had to find a good, mountable TV to keep it safe from kids. This one was perfect! Good size, easy to mount (mounting hardware purchased separately). It has enough ports on it for what we need, has awesome picture quality and really decent sound, too! It was easy to set up and utilize. It has held up really well until 12/6/19 when a child threw an EOS lip balm at it and it got pixel cracks. It would have five stars except I just don't think a good throw from a two year old should be able to damage the image so easily. We now have a pixel crackle on one side and it looks a little plaid going across and vertically from the crack point. It's mounted pretty high up. I was surprised. But, we do love it and would get the same one again.

I bought this to replace an aging LG 32 inch 720 P. The picture quality is excellent and the contrast is similar to a plasma. Plenty of HDMI inputs but still has old-school inputs as well. Quick and simple set up and my daughter was gaming within an hour. I would call this a exceptional value.

I really liked this product when I saw it in the store and love it even more now that it is up on my wall at home. Perfect size, light weight and slim profile made it easy to wall mount. My wife and I could not beat the price either. Overall, very nice product.

I wanted a good sized, reasonably priced TV for backyard viewing. It has to be light enough to carry in and out and this TV fit the bill. Great picture and perfect size for my seating area. Bright enough for afternoon viewing. This is a great inexpensive TV.

This is the third tv I've purchased of same model as I've replaced old tvs with new. I've had no major problems with the others I've owned for several years (my "oldest" 3yo, likes to restart itself occasionally). The tv is a great value and easy to use. I am not atv snob, in fact I still have a tube tv with woodgrain cover I won't replace till it's broke. . .But I am very happy with this tv: picture quality very good, price very good, functions very good, good looking. . .only thing I would change is sound, but works nice with same brand soundbar for under 100 bucks. If you want a good functioning tv and not concerned with bells and whistles, this is your tv.

Very satisfied with this TV. Picture looks good, easy to set up, and very light weight. The only negative comment would be that I have to turn the volume up to 70 in order to hear it good, but that could just be me losing my hearing in my old age.
