This was a great buy for a 42" HD at this price ($299.00) Great sharp picture and colors, sound is great for my needs. Some people seem to be very picky about sound but I don't need movie theater loud to enjoy the experience. Love watching movies on the bigger screen since my prior was a 32". Only drawback is lack of RCA inputs on the new TV's and my old DVD player (it's not THAT old) has only RCA inputs, so I had to go to the extra expense and trouble of purchasing an adapter so I could watch my DVD's. Not everyone streams them on the TV or online. I realize this is the price of progress in technology. If it wasn't for this, this TV would have gotten 5 stars.
