Wanted to replace a smaller and older outside TV and didn't want to spend a fortune. Rather than pay $1500 - $4000 for a "made for outdoor" TV (and that would be "old" after just a a couple of years) we purchased this. Works fine and even if it were to go after a year or two out in the elements (AZ heat and elements but in the shade), we're still ahead of the game.

I’ve only had for about a month but so far it’s great. No problems thus far. The picture quality is great, after adjusting the picture quality under settings which is usually the problem when someone says poor quality of picture. It’s a matter of someone knowing how to adjust it. The volume quality is exceptional, better than any other tv I’ve owned.

Needed a third TV for a room where we don't spend much time. Didn't want to spend a fortune on the latest technology. The rep showed me this "not-smart" TV and explained to me that it was a good picture but didn't have all the modern features the Smart TV's have. Price was very affordable and I bought it. Set it up using Apple TV and Dish and it works great. Wish I had found this set before I spent over a grand on one of my other TV's. If you're looking for a no frills set with excellent picture quality...buy this one! Very happy!

Great TV nothing fancy, easy to set up. Very clear picture.

I compared this Toshiba model along with LG and Samsung and this one won hands down! Toshiba did not skimp on the features. A lot of models in this price range did not have the digital audio option in order to connect a sound bar. The sound is great as well, a sound bar isn't a necessity with this model. Definitely worth the money!

I bought the extra wall mount separately and highly recommend it. I love that I can adjust the tv to however I need or want to see it in my office. TV has great picture and sound. It's simple, but good. If you don't need a lot of bells and whistles, this is for you. I have my cable box, BR player, Xbox 360 without issues.

The 49" Toshiba is a very basic and simplistic tv . It's not 4K resolution or wifi capable but for a 1080p tv it has an incredible picture . This is perfect for a bedroom tv if all you want is a large screen and great sound from the two built in stereo speakers . You can't do better than this for the price .

The picture and sound work great in this tv..so me reviews said the sound was not great..but in the big master bedroom it sounds real good..The picture is good ,you just have to go to menu and adjust to your preference..For the price you cant beat it..

I got this TV for my parents as a replacement for their old LG 42". Hooked it up for them and the picture looks great! The remote is easy for my parents to use, not too many buttons for them which is always good for the older folks like my parents. TV has been up for almost a month and so far so good.

When upgrading from a smaller television, we decided we didn't want a Smart TV and were happy to find this model. It has a great picture and plays games beautifully. We aren't audiophiles, so we can't attest to the quality of the sound other than to say that it sounds reasonably good to us.

Great basic 50" LED TV for the money. Very good picture & 3 HDMI inputs are the pros. Not a Smart TV nor 4K. Software for things like customizing label inputs could be better. For less than $300 you can't go wrong with the picture quality & 49.5" screen size. Strongly recommend.

This is my 2nd Toshiba 1080 LED and won't be my last. I purchased this unit as a Christmas gift for my Mother. She loves it. I love mine. You can't ask for a brighter, more vivid picture than this TV offers. Spend twice the money and not get a better viewing experience.
