    I'm not sure how or what to rate this tv yet, we purchased it for my daughter 2 days ago and unboxed it finally yesterday morning and connected to WIFI just fine. I got all excited because of the big screen with all the apps that she would be able to use etc, then we came onto please login to your amazon account. I order from amazon all the time, we've had a prime account for years, i have 3 firesticks loaded throughout the house, so for the fact that this tv has all the perks loaded into one seemed to be a great option. My downfall is it will not login to my account, I called customer service with amazon through my prime service on my phone and he told me that since it was a Toshiba Fire TV, he would not be able to troubleshoot or figure out why it would not logon....to me it seemed like an amazon problem bc it would load on my phone but not on the tv right? I ended up getting on the phone with Toshiba, he asked me when I bought the tv, my response being literally last night, and he says well you are still within the return warranty window you can take it back. Our team is aware of the problem and you aren't the only one who has called in that hasn't been able to login to access the tv options. With that being said, I wouldn't mind if she couldn't use the netflix, hulu, HBO, amazon, etc right now, I understand that things happen and software shuts down and has to be updated and fixed, but there's no way of getting around logging in to your account on this tv. I tried logging in through full version, which is already having an account and it telling me that my password or email was wrong, and basic version, which just kept going to an error screen and not letting me just connect to an HDMI to watch cable or even a dvd player. Seems like there would be a bypass option if there are technical difficulties with what the tv was purchased for, which was all the perks and apps, but just to be able to plug in and watch regular tv would be nice. We don't live near where we bought this tv, so for me to have to unmount it, box it back up, and take it back to the store isn't just as easy as it sounds. Not sure what to do still holding on to not being able to get past the login state....

    Purchased November 29th, 2018. The remote sucks, it's not full function at all (see pic). Once powered off, the TV has to be put back on the input of your choice, it does not stay on the input it was on when powered off. Even when programing a cable remote (Comcast) you still need the TV remote to switch between inputs. If you have no cable or satellite then it's probably a nice TV since it has quite a few apps available on it. There is only 1 button on the TV itself (power & input, they are the same button) so don't lose the remote. If you have the option of getting a different TV with more features then do so, this TV should only be purchased if it is an amazing deal & will not be used as the main TV in a household.

    Tv is great. Good with a living room with bright sunlight. Good sound. I love Amazon so the base format is good. I also have a Roku TV in my bed room. This Amazon Tv will not pick up what I am watching on my phone and allow it to be broadcasted. There are apps, but they are bad. The Roku TV allows it, if you give it permission it will anytime it’s on and your device is streaming near by. Go a Roku platform over an Amazon platform.

    Bought this smart tv on sale Thought it was a good bargain until I used it for a couple of days and realize every time The tv turn off or it goes to sleep it cuts off the Wi-Fi and will not stream any online services until you have to literally go to the settings and restart the television

    Toshiba TV has volume issues. You have to turn it up to hear people talk but when there's music, it blares loudly. Always are turning this TV up or down. Also, the TV guide shows a program is starting at 7PM when it actually comes on at 8PM so the TV guide times are wrong.

    Every time I turn the TV on I also have to mess with the input, even if that where I turned it off very frustrating. However my remote was lost and Toshiba sent a new one free of charge.

      Hi Rob,

      To change the TV to power up directly to the last input setting, press the Home button on your remote control and select the Settings menu. Then select the Display & Sounds menu and change the Power On setting to Recent row. With this new setting, the TV will power up to the last input that was watched.

    The TV is not easy to setup and every thing works with Amazon sceen . If you like Amazon and fire TV then this TV is for you .

    Returned this tv. We signed up for YouTube tv and the amazon fire did not have an app to get directly. Going to go with a tv like Samsung thst supports YouTube tv.
