This player has everything you need to record

Good Recorder

Also, the controls on the remote are not logically setup. But overall it does what it is supposed to do. Dubbing Video tapes is easy.

Great picture

The unit is slow in responding to remote input when choosing a video program to watch compared with the unit it replaced. But the 1080p gives a really great picture.

hard to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Instructions are very vague .The buttons on remote are hard to read.Tried to make copies of kids shows for my grandkids only to find out that it won't play back on other players. It will not record on dvd's that have more than 120 minutes of storage.You have to set the wrighting speed .I wish I had bought one on HSN I would be able to send it back!!!

Not a good purchase

It is difficult to set up, even with directions. The absence of a tuner makes it less than desirable, and you have to be directly in line with it to use the remote (no slouching comfortably on the couch). Seems to skip a lot. Certainly not worth what I paid for it!
