It's great as a laptop for daily routine work. First time i bought TOSHIBA , i used most of the brand till now it's looks better in its performance & look all worth in price.Use this laptop on-the-go sometimes for the compact size. Just remember to bring a spare USB mouse!

First thing I noticed pulling it out if the box is that it feels very solid, not cheap at all. Hook up was a breeze and the sub automatically synced. They sound bar sounds great. I cranked it up to get a good feel for the sound and it just kept going up and sounding good. Can't wait to watch a good movie. I would recommend this to anybody

Nice computer for a nice price. This is my third Toshiba computer and it works well. It's simple enough for someone like me who mainly uses it for works and internet surfing. I also love the light up keyboard.

Recieved the laptop as a gift from my son for Father's Day. Very surprised and he did a great job in picking a functional laptop for my home use. I am still struggling a little with the windows products as I am far more accustomed to the older versions, but I am told the new version coming out this month is far more user friendly

I love this computer. It does everything I need it to do and is great for watching movies/tv. The only thing that I miss is the dvd drive, which means I'll have to order an external at some point.

The size of this computer is excellent. Even though there is no optical drive, the savings in both size and weight are well worth the sacrifice.

It is a nice laptop but I'm not used to windows 8, I did not like the functionality of it so I had to take it back and replace it with Mac air.

Awesome computer but it did come in a big box with no padding and it was a display model that had not been wiped clean so had to take to my local Best Buy thirty miles away and have it wiped clean other than that it's a great computer.

overall the computer is very nice. Boot up is pretty quick and it runs very smooth i have no complaints. the only problem i see is that the battery doesn't last as long as I would like.

I feel like I got the deal of the year when it went on sale for $399. I also added a 10% off coupon to make it $359 muahahaha. Even at $599 you'd be hard pressed to find something better without patients. I'm very satisfied. Good: 5th generation i5 CPU Bright and crisp screen. 1920x1080 is fine even on it's small 14" screen. Nice smart backlit keyboard. Very thin and compact. Even the power adapter is tiny but runs cool. Very power efficient! As I write this review it's using 8-11 watts. Battery life is good. 4-9 hours. Bad: Touchpad buttons are horrible. To access the ram, hard drive, ect the laptop has to be disassembled. No access panels and battery not removable. No optical drive but who cares. I picked up a open box Sam Sung 4K 3D TV for an unbelievable price. The picture quality is outstanding. Have a recent minor problem that sometime the picture goes 2 shades darker. But have a Geek Squad contact and I am sure it can be fixed also still has the full warranty from the manufacture.

Such an awesome laptop to use either in your house or at work.. I´m a teacher and it has been perfect to do my lesson plans and to show photos and videos to my students in the classroom.

This computer is very fast and has a beautiful 1920 X 1080 HD display. It has an excellent keyboard and is very easy to use. The only drawback with this fine machine is it doesn't have touch-screen capability. If that's not important to you, this computer is hard to beat at this price point.

I have always stuck with Toshibas with the Harman/Kardon sounds system and my only complaint is the single port for Microphone/headphones (and I wish I had bought the touch version).

I bought this computer because I needed something slim with a decent sized screen that could handle more resource intensive programs like Adobe software without running too slow. Also, I knew that I could add additional RAM if needed. It seems to be handling lots of tasks fairly well, but after one month the sound is jacking up. Loud hissing noise. I will probably have to have it fixed because it's driving me nuts.

Only 1 problem is the screen starts flickering after a few weeks of use. Call customer support from Toshiba but no help.

This laptop was a gift for my son to take to college. It works well and he is very happy with it. It has everything he will need to satisfy his needs for his classes

I know in comparison to other competitive laptops in that same price range it is worth every penny spent. But if you like to have a mouse this is not your laptop.
