Going off my experience in the past with Toshiba Satellites (great) I jumped on the laptop because of the price point. Absolutely the worst video card in any computer I've owned. After two weeks of trying to update and working directly with AMD I returned it and purchased another brand. Heartbreaking!

A good laptop for my girlfriend she loves it also has good gb space

The sound is poor (Beats) - my iphone is louder.The touch screen is difficult to use & operation of it moves the screen entirely. No DVD / Disc Drive. Air cooler is on the bottom. I bought two @ the same time. We still have one sealed. If you get a touch screen don't buy this one. Ugh big mistake.

There are a few things that are good and bad about this product, though mostly bad, in my opinion. Image quality wise it's nice and sharp, and the internet is quite fast compared to my previous Mac (which, admittedly, I've had for five years before buying this). Generally, the design is nice, and this is easy to use, especially for my first non-Apple laptop in quite a long time. And, uh, the screen is big? However, there are a few things I'd like to get through that I know similar people are also having problems with. First off, the screen is not only fragile in that it easily breaks, but for being a touch screen laptop, it's super sensitive. I can't touch the bottom of it or behind the screen without it thinking that I'm touching the actual screen, which is really annoying. These past months I've figured out a way around it, but...it's just a lot of hassle. The sound quality and connectivity are really poor. On my Mac, which, as mentioned, I've had for five years, connection was fine. Now with this, I have to sit in certain spots on my couch or my desk and try to figure out a way around having "limited" connection. But the sound really bugs me -- the only time when it's good quality is if I have my earbuds plugged in. If I ever buy another laptop, it's definitely not going to be from Toshiba. Definitely disappointed.

After a year with this computer, I have had no problems at all. I use it for school. nothing extrodinary. It works great considering I have beat it up and dropped it several times over the year. I love it.

I have had this computer for almost a year now and I'm wondering how these other reviewers were coming across these problems. I put together my towers from start to finish and I take excellent care of my products, I have not once occured any of these problems throughout these reviews. I have full confidence in this laptop and don't want anyone to shy away from this product. It is my first Toshiba and I have to say i'm very impressed at the output it's given me.

This laptop is great! Its fast, easy to use, great picture and cheap. Only problems are that the battery died after six months, and the DVD player broke (probably my fault). But still think that this is a great laptop.

Very good laptop, good price, and very fun, i would recommend this laptop to anyone.

Wireless specs claim to be 802.11b/g/n but the settings only show it to be 802.11b. It does not recognize 5G wireless network and it is extremely slow on other wireless networks and constantly kicks me off the network. The computer only works well when directly wired to the network. Software update does not fix it. Toshiba support will only fix it if I fork out money for a service plan. This is for a computer that is 2 months old and still under warranty. I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER TOSHIBA PRODUCT!!!!
