Pros: Crystal clear screen. Very fast response time. Solid construction. Solid-State Hard Drive. Con's: Difficult to operate Track Pad. "Buggy" and "Flaky" Windows 10 Operating System. No CD drive. Mediocre owner's manual.

It's thin, light and it's fast. Looks very sleek. I love the solid state hard drive.

I am not a techy and have not had much time to experiment and discover all my new laptop has to offer, but for what I have used it for so far, I am very pleased. The screen resolution is amazing. Super fast. Windows 10 is a welcome addition. The touch screen is very responsive. 360 degree capability is a fun, extra little bonus.

My husband loves his SS laptop, still after 18 mos. He continually reminds me how fast it starts up compared to my "old" hard drive laptop. Grandkids love the touch screen.... although that might be a negative :) Nice & lightweight and FAST!

I purchased this laptop configured with 12Gb or RAM and a 500Gb SSD. I wanted something on the windows platform which could keep up with the speed and dependability of a macbook. Mission accomplished. I'm a traveling IT consultant and this is perfect for my daily application/use requirements and is very convenient in tablet mode on planes where there is limited room. I definitely recommend.

Initially wanted to go with apple product but decided against it after research and reviews on your site. no where near to price for the functinability that my choice offered. Absolutely happy with Toshiba!

I purchased my previous Toshiba Satellite in 2009 and never had a problem with it. Decided to update and upgrade to the new Satellite P55W-C. I purchased it through Best Buy, received very prompt shipping. Due to the outside temperature being cold at time of delivery, I waited for it to warm 3 to 4 hours before opening. I turned it on tried to set it up and it froze up, I tried turning it on and off several times and nothing. I contacted Best Buy Geek Squad and the tech had me try it a few more times and it came back up. I again tried to set it up and the screen locked up again. I had to take it into Best Buy and the Geek Squad had to reload the software and charged me $42.00 dollars and had it for a day. I got into a disagreement with customer service assistant manager about the charge because they did not want to refund my expense. It wasn't until I told them that I wished to return and a refund on my on my purchase that they agreed to cover my expense. Needless to say I was not happy with my purchase and Best Buy's customer service at the time. I have not had the issues that I experienced on start up. It is very fast starting up and navigating . I now question how I will be treated if I have a issue on any large purchase with Best Buy. I know one employee can change the impression a person has on a business. Still a little upset with Customer Service.

Quick, the solid state rocks over sata. Plenty of storage and from previous Toshiba laptops owned expect it to last a long time trouble free.

Weird that it has 4K video and has a terrible graphics card. Can't play many Steam Games unless you really look at the minimum requirements, that's all... Little slow sometimes otherwise

This Toshiba 4K laptop has been phenomenal. After weeks of research, I decided to invest in this laptop. Beautiful, fast, dazzling screen, and more. The best PC that I've ever owned -- and more functional than my Apple Air too. A great investment. You get what you pay for. The BestBuy support has been excellent too.

Great computer but very costly. Also if your using it just for the 4K screen I remind you that there is not that much 4K content out there, YET.

The laptop is decent, however the specs are incorrect on the website. It has an Intel 5500, not 6000

This computer does everything I ask it too and I still cant max it out. I read some wifi issues, but I havent had any problem with mine. I do have the maxed out hardware, so its possible that it is different. I cant be any more satisfied with my purchase.

I've been very happy with my Toshiba thus far. The screen is absolutely beautiful and the laptop feels very sturdy and well made but is still light and slim. The touch pad feels flimsy so I'm worried this will wear out quickly but I haven't had any issues with it yet. Performance-wise this laptop is also pretty hard to beat. The SSHD means very fast boot-up, talking like 15 seconds and very quick file access. If you're really a power user you might want a little more RAM but this is if you're running multiple VMs, not multiple tabs on chrome. Just a warning: at this point in time (May 2016) a lot of software hasn't caught up to 4k compatibility, so you'll run into some UI's that appear super tiny on the screen and you'll have to come up with some funky work arounds for these situations which can be a pain. This isn't really an issue with the laptop, because like i said the 4k screen is pretty beautiful, but you will likely end up with some issues of software compatibility.

NIce to be able to use it as a tablet & laptop. Love the startup speed with Solid State Hard Drive.

This computer is incredible. It is super quiet, light weight, durable in construction, and the picture quality is crazy clear. The sound is amazing.

My wife has used the laptop for years and has had complaints. Was a little apprehensive at first purchasing a Toshiba but the hardware and longevity speak for themselves.

Battery life isn't the best, but everything else is. Even though it has an older i7, it is still super fast and does everything I need it to do. I use it for work mostly, but it also allows for plenty of play. Not much 4k content to date but it is nice having the capability to watch 4k content in the future. Also, the speakers are incredible for a laptop. I really enjoy this computer overall. Much better than my 2013 Lenovo.
