Toy Story 2 is close to animated perfection. And to finally be able to get it in 4k Ultra HD in a nice steelbook package is fantastic. But getting a digital copy along with it is even more important if you're into having a fully digital movie collection. The movie itself improves upon the original in every way and is a must watch for any animation (or film fan.) It's a classic.

This movie is good for a sequel but not as good as the original. Being a SteelBook is a plus.

This movie introduced us to Jessie, my favorite character! Pixar has come a long way in quality CGI since the first movie. A fun movie, and glad to have it in my collection, although it was a problem getting it. Best Buy Millenia has destroyed its video section to the point that it's pointless to shop there. I had to go out of my way to another Best Buy to find it! I have high marks for Toy Story 2, but very low marks for Best Buy Millenia!!

Of the 3 Toy Story movies, this is okay. It is missing the dynamics in the first Toy Story

It's just ok. This was the weaker of the trilogy just because Woody's story was pointless.

Great movie for the family, nieces and nephews when they come over. A little pricey.

As the second entry in the franchise , I found the plot to be quite interesting .

This is the second installment in the Toy Story franchise and it doesn’t disappoint.

I purchased this Steelbook on sale for $14.99 to compliment the Zavvi Steelbook I have of the first movie. The artwork on the steel is nice. It comes with bonus features as well as the movie on Blu-ray & 4K disc. The story itself was a great follow-up to the first. It adds a lot of depth to Woody’s character as well as introduces some new friends and foes. Would highly recommend!

I loved all three Toy Story movies (the original was obviously the best), so I finally decided to buy them to add to my movie collection since I could buy both the blu-ray and digital in one purchase. My only complaint was that at the time of purchase, it wasn't on sale. The movie is almost 17 years old and is still almost $30. Don't get me wrong, you get what you pay for and it's still worth the price, I just wish the sale price ($19.99) was the standard price.

One of Pixar's best receives a fun, vibrant steelbook that perfectly captures the childlike magic of the film. This art series is wonderful- with beautiful, color-coded steels for each of Pixar's steels that makes them instantly recognizable and features an iconic scene from each film. Any Disney lovers need this on their shelf!

The hdr makes this movie so much better. I get to love it again with my kids.

Toy Story 2 is a classic film, but this 4K UHD Blu-ray release went wrong in a few places. First, the movie is censored at the end of the film, having the end-credit blooper scene censored/removed from both the 4K UHD and the Blu-ray disc. Movies are a product of their time (keep in mind that Toy Story 2 is a 20+ year old movie) so this revisionism by Disney/Pixar is silly. By purchasing this 4K UHD Blu-ray, it kinda' seems that you will not be getting the film as it was originally created by the filmmakers. Disney should have placed a simple disclaimer before the film in order to not only distance themselves from any possible controversy, but to also to educate on film history and keep the movie intact for posterity. If this becomes a trend. years from now, people will look back and see how much Disney tried to cover things up. Cover-ups are never good. Times have changed and people have gotten smarter, so I think it's important for Disney/Pixar to not only lead, but to educate - and a simple little disclaimer would have sufficed for a situation like this. The blooper scene was funny once upon a time, but it is tasteless and crude today. That's a fact. Times have changed, but we need to find ways to be more educational as society progresses, and I hope Disney gets things figured out. Another issue with this release is the typical low audio volume that all Disney movies have. You will have to crank this up in order to hear the right bass levels and proper sound dynamics - and even then, it still sounds weak. The Blu-ray and DVD versions that have been floating around for years happen to have better audio than this. Disney continues to pump out terrible sound mixes on 4K + Blu-ray, such as The Incredibles, Coco, Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther, to the point where purchasing their films is beginning to feel like a waste of money. Do I recommend this release? No. Save your time and money, unless you have a few bucks to spare or happen to catch it on sale. Disney continues to be a poor example in the film industry and to children, simply based on their lack of taking ownership, lack of respect for film preservation, and inferior audio. The only positive thing I can say is... these Toy Story SteelBook's look pretty darn nice. But nothing else.

Toy Story 2 has the crew of the original venture beyond Andy's, Syd's houses and Pizza Planet to introduce new characters and a new adventure. This premium release has great artwork on the package and the UHD release looks great in HDR. Also included is a Movies Anywhere Dolby Vision streaming code should you have the necessary hardware to watch it.

When it comes to animated movies, Pixar has always held a high standard and Toy Story 2 is no exception, continuing the trend. Toy Story 2 is an excellent animated feature! The 4K transfer looks and sounds great also. If you liked this film, this is a definite purchase. These Disney collectible steelbooks are also a nice bonus for those who collect them.
