The ease of setup and use are also appreciated, making it a user-friendly option. While some find the size a bit bulky and note the limited availability of Wi-Fi 6E devices, the overall sentiment is positive.

      Hi DanielH,

Thank you for your review. To ensure the best possible signal, optimal placement is essential. Reducing obstructions and placing the router in a central location will help ensure your signal reaches the needed areas.

To ensure optimal performance of your wireless router, please check and if needed, update its firmware using the steps outlined in FAQ 2139 on our official website: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2139/

We regret to hear your support experience was anything less than satisfactory. We offer various warranty replacement options, including advanced replacement, in which we send you the replacement unit first and provide a shipping label to return your device.

Our support team would appreciate another opportunity to address your concerns. At your convenience, please email USSupportTeam@TP-Link.com, referencing this review and your existing support Ticked ID (TKID) number, and we will gladly help.

      Best Regards,

Bought this router to hopefully future proof my home WiFi for a while. On sale it was a decent price for an AXE router, and only a few dollars more than the model below it. So far so good.

It seems to reach into areas of my house that the old router did not. It definitely seems more powerful and has been working well. I still get occasional dropped calls and I'm not sure whether it's on my end or the other end.

I have used to have a netgear nighthawk for years. Always had problems with Netgear. Wifi dropping, router would freeze from nowhere, and inhad to restart the router at least 02x per month. Threw that router on the trash and decided to give this one a try. Have been using for almost 3 month now and zero issues. Not a single problem on wifi and wired connection. There are some options that you need to pay to unlock but since i dont need them, not a big deal for me.

A potentially promising router for a great price, ruined by locking basic features behind a subscription paywall. An extremely basic function of being able to wall devices off from accessing the internet but still be usable on your network (commonly referred to as a parental control option) is not a feature you get when you buy this router for free. Instead you have to pay a monthly fee to use that feature. And you HAVE to use their app to control thos settings, taking most other basic router controls commonly accessed in the web UI and making you use their app. This router may be okay for most basic users, but anyone who cares to tune their router and dial in their network should avoid this product.
