Needed for Meta Quest 3
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We gifted our son Quest 3 and it was not working with our wifi 6 asus router that costs the same price! So we bought this and now it works. The star off is because it doesnt come with the security features our Asus did, you have to pay a subscription for it. Very disappointed about that. The greed is unreal.

Wanted to like it, but WiFi stability is terrible
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a few days of use, using the 2.4/6ghz bands causes the unit to crash and requires the unit to have the wifi turned off for it to function. Would not be so bad if I just wanted a switch for my hardwired electronics. I am still working with TP Link to resolve the issue. I'm just going to assume (and hope) it's just a faulty unit. Coming from 4 years of use with the Archer AX10 model with little to no issues, I really was expecting a top-notch product. Highly disappointing for the price point from TP-Link

Good but FAR from Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The item works as advertised but it tends to force devices onto the 2.4 ghz band even when they are sitting next to devices that pickup the 5g band. Also Moving from an older model AX11000 all of the devices on my network were able to get double the bandwidth that they get now. Its great for the price but its worth it to spend the extra on a nicer router.

Posted .Hi Chris,
Thank you for your review. In your case, we first recommend ensuring your router's firmware is fully up to date for the latest optimizations and features.
You may also consider adjusting settings such as Smart Connect on the router, or roaming aggressiveness on your Wi-Fi client devices (e.g., smartphones, computers) so they do not switch bands frequently.
If you would like assistance with any of these steps, please get in touch with our support team using any of the resources included with the product, or from our official website, and we'll gladly have a Support Agent follow up with you directly.

Good potential, not built for longevity
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was good for the past 8 months but is now struggling handling too much traffic even with the tri band. If you get a tri band router, having dual 5hz is way better than 1 6ghz band that most devices still don’t support anyways

Nice router
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced an older Appel router with this one. The Macs would run well but the windows boxes didn’t get full bandwidth. So far it has been rock solid in function and plays nice with Mac and windows.

Parental control doesn't work
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this device because it can limit childrens access time based on a defined schedule. However, this functionality fails. All included devices in the access control schedule function erroneously regardless of time. The router is configured with the correct timezone and the time server correctly applied our region's time. Yet the schedule remains functionless. Otherwise the router appears to work fine. Wifi range and speeds are within specifications. My only complaint so far are the unfunctional parental access control. My kids rate this defect 5 stars however. Well past their bedtime.

Strong router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have my router in a closet…not by choice, I live in an apartment. But even then this router has been quite good at what a router is supposed to do, with the bonus of having wifi 6e!

Excellent router
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this product. Wifi 6e is definitely a game changer, make sure your devices support it though. Set up was a hassle and a little frustrating. The app helps you out quite a bit and is detailed with anything you want to configure.

Great starting 6e Tri-Band Router
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's the perfect upgrade to your household. It also has wi-fi mesh compatibility with TP-Link products. The advanced settings are simple, but it does the job. 10/10 would buy again.

Do not buy, awful range
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchase this router with pretty high hopes. I got home set it up and when I was sitting right next to the router speed test seem to be in line with what I expected. However, I walked about 20 feet away from the router with virtually a cleared line of site, and speed decreased by over 50%. From there, I walked upstairs is also not far, and also with basically clear line of sight, and speed decreased by around 80%. Home is a new construction home, no brick, no concrete, all cheap building materials like drywall, which should easily penetrate. If you need a strong Wi-Fi signal, this is definitely not the router you want to go with.
