Very nice router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Archer AXE7800 satisfies all of our needs. The internet interface is straightforward and easy to use. Set-up was a breeze. Our ISP is spectrum, and this router works well with the Spectrum modem. We live in a small house, so we cannot comment on the maximum range of the unit. We gave it 5 stars for range, so please consider our house size there. We're not gamers either, so there's that.

Speed is around 850-950. works well with deco 5300 just one extender was enough, but they are switching between them only when almost lost a connection. Overall satisfied. If its set as a router, then not so many settings as on netgear. no scheduling, some features are with subscription only.

READ THE MANUAL! This router is very intelligent and will connect a device depending on age and distance to the correct band. The app for this product makes it extremely easy to prioritize certain devices. For what this equipment does, the price can't be beat! Highly recommend!

Up and running now for about a month with zero issues. Range has increased dramatically from the old unit and covers approximately an acre no problem.

Small thing but I like the fact I can disable the LED though it does not survive a reboot. Using various tools I am showing above wire speed on wifi.

My 3yo Asus RT-AX3000 hits nearly the same speeds with equal or wider coverage and half the antennas. Not to mention Asus' depth of settings and source software is 10x better.
