This replaced a google nest router system that one day decided to stop working. It was incredibly easy to install and set up. I am very pleased with the reliability and coverage throughout the house.

I set these up for a client who lives in an area that doesn't offer broadband. They've had satellite internet for years with around 2-5Mb bandwidth. Ridiculous. They finally got T-Mobile 5G home internet with 20-50Mb (10x as before) speeds and lower cost. Unfortunately the T-Mobile gateway WiFi wasn't always reliable in their 5000+ sq.ft. house. I set these up as access points and now the whole house has WiFi with no dead spots, including the driveway. No noticeable latency. Recommended.

I am very pleased with this system after two weeks of use. I purchased the system as a replacement for a Netgear Orbi that had intermittent stability issues when connecting using Wi-Fi through both Android and Apple phones, despite remaining current with firmware. The TP-Link system was very easy to setup and I have have no connectivity issues whatsoever. Speeds are very good too. My ethernet speeds are generally in the 700-900MB range and the Wi-Fi speeds that I get from this system range from 400MB to 700MB, varying by distance. Great value.

Got this on sale. Very good value for the price we bought it for. We have a tri-level home, so we need to amp and extend coverage. Easy to install and use, works well and fast.

I bought this mesh system to replace another brand of wi-fi 6 router and extenders that were not a mesh system. The TP Link system was easy to set up, and after getting some help from TP Link Chat Support to resolve a speed issue, this system has worked much better than my old, much more expensive system.

I came from a netgear WiFi system and compared to that system this DECO system is way better with faster speeds. My 1st netgear was not giving my max speeds, the 2nd system stopped working after 2 weeks and now this current system has been working fantastic for over month now. It covers my entire 1600 square ft house. LOVE IT! I will update in a few months but so for great system

We were having incredibly spotty internet with Xfinity in our upstairs office at 400MB because of the distance. I was skeptical especially when I saw the downloads speed but what it may shorten in download speed if strengths in pure steady connectivity where needed. My wife works from home and now she has perfect connection. Great product

Simple setup and configuration... Too simple

The TP-Link Deco router looks sleek and was very simple to configure. For most individuals with basic Internet needs, it would satisfy most needs. My primary issues are two parts: 1. While the router boasts of 2.4/5 GHz support, both signals are broadcast as a single SSID. This means that if you connect a device that supports both bands, the device will determine which to use. 2.4 will give the stronger signal, but suffer a limit on nadeidth speeds. In my case, many connections defaulted to the 2.4, causing my speed to cap out at around 80 Mbps rather than the 450 Mbps I get with the 5 GHz signal. The only way to split out the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies is to setup the guest network with the alternate frequency and set both SSIDs to.be discreetly 2.4 or 5 GHz. This brings me to the second problem. 2. The number is SSID is limited to the primary and guess network. The needs in my WiFi environment is to.have a discrete internal WiFi for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, I'm addition to a guest WiFi. Since I must use the "guest WiFi" to host one of the discrete frequencies as an internal SSID, I am unable to setup and actual guest WiFi. If not for these two primary issues, I would have likely kept the product and would have been very pleased. The 3 stars is for its simplicity and easy setup. It loses two stars for the amount on control provided. An additional note is that within the router setup, it does allow for extra Internet security at the router, such as malware site blocking, it comes at an additional subscription cost while some other routers provide those as base features of the router. I would probably recommend if advanced configuration is not needed and the additional security features are not a concern.

      Hello Ben

It is very common for Mesh Systems to use a combined network ID to provide network traffic needs. At first your concerns, especially with older legacy devices, was quite common. TP-Link has addressed this in 2 ways. 1. In most models we now include an IoT network that can be set to either 2.4 or 5 GHz and is intended to put your IoT devices in a segregated network. 2. We included a feature of not only prefered node but preferred band which directs a client to that specific node or band. tplink

I have a 3500 sq foot house and live on an acre. I have 2 of the units inside (first floor and second floor) and they both work quickly. The third unit is out in the barn at the back of the property and the connection works fine out that far. Have not have any issues with the units and they work great with the ISP that I currently use.

Huge improvement over what my service provider had given me. This covers the entire length of my house and provides a consistent signal, even in times of high use! Easy setup and comes with an app to include any other additional features.

I wanted to get this because I needed ethernet ports and to stop having spotty Wi-Fi. I got it on sale, easy setup didn't have any issues throughout it. Pretty good range reaches all the way to my garage. Would recommend if you just need something simple medium price range that doesn't break the bank. It fixed my issues and probably would buy a more expensive one from this brand knowing how simple it is was.

When the system works, it works very well. The setup was easy, and the app is quite good. Initially, the system had a strong and stable signal throughout the house. However, now the units frequently loose connectivity with each other. This may be due to a recent firmware update - which I would like to reverse but can't figure out how to do so. I have tried to reach Deco customer support but with no success.
