Hi, Sound quality is great , you don't need any extra cables to put on the back of your console , will work straight form control with little plug adaptor that snug to the controller. Also you can plug the mini plug to a tablet or a cell phone and even use the mic.

I bought this Turtle Beach headset for my son, who told me that they were the best. Well, after getting them and trying them out, I bought another set because they are pretty amazing. Well worth the money!

This headset has fit my needs perfectly when playing on my xb1. The volume controls and chat/game mixer works great. No complaints from other players about the mic. The price for the quality is really fantastic. The materials all feel nice while wearing the headset. Extended sessions can get a little warm since the earcups don't have much ventilation. It has a nice weight to it that is not too heavy, but you are aware it's still there. The removable mic is a great touch, although it can be tricky to get back in when you are trying to reattach it while wearing. The sound quality is excellent, but I will say this is my first aftermarket headset purchase so I don't have experience with others to compare it to. I'm not sure I will be able to back to gaming without a headset now. If you are a pvp player it is especially helpful while stalking opponents and preventing flanking/ambushes. There are lots of audio subtleties in my games that I was missing out on before. One downside is this headset reduces battery life in the controller significantly since it doesn't have it's own power. Just make sure to keep an extra pair of batteries around so you don't get caught with a dead controller during a heated battle. :)

I was waiting for the right deal when upgrading from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One and finally found it when Best Buy was offering this headset for free with the purchase of the Xbox One Master Chief Collection. I always knew I was eventually going to get a headset like this upon upgrading systems so this was the perfect opportunity for me to upgrade. I have an older Turtle Beach headset I had used with my 360 for years so I knew this would be a good choice in terms of headsets for the Xbox One. As expected due to the simple difference in age between this headset and my old one, this headset is far superior in terms of functionality. It is listed as a "Wired" headset but it should be noted that the only wire you have to worry about is the wire that runs from the headset to your controller. My old Turtle Beach wired headset for my 360 also had to be plugged into one of the USB ports on the 360 itself whereas that is no longer needed for the Ear Force XO ONE. The only drawback of this feature is that this new headset draws its power directly from your controller which tends to really drain the batteries much faster than simply using the controller without the headset. I haven't invested in a play and charge kit or any of the rechargeable batteries available for the Xbox One controllers yet so this is all based on the use of standard AA batteries. Aside from the battery issue, this really is a great headset. The sound quality is fantastic and the additional features are great. This type of headset is great for times when you are playing later at night when others are likely sleeping because it allows you to turn the volume all the way down on your TV since you get all of the sound directly through the headset. Overall, this is a great headset that I was able to get as part of a really good deal. Just beware of the fact that your controller's batteries will not last nearly as long as they otherwise would without the use of this headset. I suggest using the headset sparingly by using it mainly during the times when it would be most beneficial such as late at night.

These headphones are good for the price you pay. Pretty good sound quality. You can turn up the bass to your liking and adjust the game volume and chat volume to different levels to a nice balance. They feel nice on your head and ears during long gaming sessions. Soft cushioning on the ears that feel comfortable. BEWARE, they will drain the battery on your controller fast so I recommend using a cord on your controller or having a pair of rechargeable batteries.

No problems, yet, on build quality. The headset does feel to be made well but time will tell. The sound quality is pretty good! A lot better than I thought it might be. The controls on the controller work very well and the bass boost adds a significant amount of bass! When on sale, there probably isn't a better headset on the market for the price. I like it and am glad I bought it. My only complaint is that the cord to the controller feels too short at some times, but others is perfect.

My Xbox One controllers don't have the 3.5 mm headset jack so I needed to either purchase a new controller, an adapter, or a headset that had one. With an adapter costing $25 by itself and still wanting a new headset it made sense to go with this product. Pros: Can be used with my first gen Xbox One controllers Works with my phone Great sound quality Great chat quality Comfortable Cons: Cord is too short If you need a headset and adapter for the first generation Xbox One controller - this is the way to go.

Boyfriend has these. I love that he can turn the sound entirely off on the actual tv and he can still hear perfect in his headset. It's great when I want to be reading next to him while he plays. Also great is how he can hear his voice in the headset so he knows when he's yelling. Although he does need a reminder to turn the sound down in his ears so when he responds to the other guys who are yelling because his volume so loud. I recommend them, he seems really happy with them. Only had them a month now but that's longer than any other headset has ever lasted. Oh they drain your battery in the controller. So get the rechargeable batteries.

I have a set of the Turtlebeach PX21's they are outstanding, needed a set for the XBOX ONE. Turtle beach makes it almost impossible to buy their DSS adapter for the Old PX21's to work on the new systems, so i jumped down the path and bought these. as even an entry level headphones set, they are outstanding. they are wired to the controller just like the microsoft branded ones, stereo sound, but these have a built in mixer on the controller adapter with bass boost, something the microsoft ones do not have. well worth it for $20 over the microsoft branded price. The Turtlebeach XO ONE's just droped by $18, so if you need a pair, get these. the microphone does unplug if you just want the sound and no chat.

Sound is great, I love that it plays the game sound through the headset so you can mute the tv and just keep the headphones on if it's quiet time in the house. The toggle between game sound and voice volume took me a second to figure out how it worked but it works good. It's very comfortable to wear, when i wear it it's for at least 3-4 hours at a time, and my ears don't get too hot and it's not too tight on my head. Microphone is detachable and bendable so you can put it in whatever position you like. works great for me.

These are awesome. I love everything about them. They are extremely light weight, very comfortable (used for over two hours), great sound quality AND the adapter it comes with is Turtle Beach's own proprietary adapter which enables this headset, and any other headset you might want to use, with mic monitoring/feedback. I have used Turtle Beach for a long time and these are simply great!

Great headset with amazing sound! Very comfortable to wear as well. However, it seems to be the Xbox does not register this type of headset. While playing on Xbox live with others, I can hear them, but they can't really hear me. I have looked up this issue online and others have issues too but it's with the Xbox console, not the actual headphones. Looking into resetting my entire Xbox so I am able to register the headphones as well.

I bought this since I had no headset yet. Cheapest one at Best Buy at the time I was at the store. Some online reviewers said you can't hear game music only your voice when it's plugged in. It was like that when I first tried it and I thought that sucked. I was about to return it because I bought the model above this, Turtle Beach XO Four which lets you hear both chat and game music. The XO Four by the way was very tight on my head and very uncomfortable. I eventually misplaced the XO Four and since I still had the XO One I ended up using it because it's better than nothing. Then guess what happened? I can now hear both the game music and voice at the same time. I did update the controller when I first used the XO One. I kept the XO One since it's very light, also flimsy. There's a small foam pad at the top so there's no head to hard plastic feel. I like the removable mic attachment, easy to maneuver but difficult to eat because it gets in the way. It's not sexy but it works!

Just bought this headset for my son and they are great and affordable, i like the fact that the microphone can be pulled off for used solely as a headset with out me worried of him damaging the microphone. There comfortable and he can use them for long periods of time with out them hurting his ears great item for the price.

Was reluctant to purchase these when my standard ear buds did the job okay. I must say, they sit comfortably on my head, bass is deep, sound is crisp and clean and best of all, this headset also works with my PS4 (with a little edit to audio device settings and select output to all).

This is a great headset. It doesn't work very well when plugged into the xbox chatpad ... but it works great when plugged into the volume headset adapter it came with. I planned on using this headset to replace the one that comes with the chatpad (which I was disappointed it didn't work out well)... but hey life's not perfect. I can't judge this product solely on its compatibility with the chatpad...but that's my only complaint so all in all it's a great product
